You’ll love my place because of the quietness, the ambiance, the convenience.. My place is good for couples, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets).

Le logement

If you see days available between bookings that are less than a week please contact me. This 3 bed 3 bath home was remodelled by a New York designer in 2016. The bathrooms have heated floors, designer tile and decor.
The owners are a chef and a pianist. The kitchen was designed by the chef. It has an induction hob/stove, two convection ovens, one is a microwave combination, Fisher Paykel fridge/freezer with an ice maker and water dispenser. Every tool a chef could wish for are in this kitchen all the way down to a pasta maker and panini press. No expense has been spared..
We have an Yamaha electric hybrid piano which guests are invited to play.
Bedrooms 1 and 2 have queen pillow top beds and TVs with Virgin Media cable boxes. Bedroom 3 has 2 single beds and is built to feel like a cabin on a cruise ship. Wardrobes and drawers in every bedroom giving ample space for storage.
The third bathroom for bedroom 3 houses the washer and dryer along with an extra fridge, iron and ironing board.
The house sits behind a block of flats which is a part of the same development and it shields occupants from any street noise. There are black wrought iron gates at the front, access via a code and a video entry system for any visitors of the guests staying.
This is London living American style!

Location of this home is key for any visitor be it for pleasure or business as it's situated between the business centre of and the West End with Covent Garden and theatres close at hand and the transport links make Hatton Garden a great place to base yourselves.
Ladies did we mention DIAMONDS and watches for your man!!? More importantly for some is the fact that you will be in the heart of the London jewellery trade. This gives 47th Street in NYC a run for it's platinum!! You can find silver jewellery for £25 and watches for any amount of money a stones throw away!
There is a dry cleaner next door to the property and several small supermarkets close at hand as well as many pubs!

Accueil très chaleureux. Le logement est très fidèle à la description, avec des prestations de grande qualité. Le quartier est animé la journée, calme le soir. Accès métro et bus à proximité.

Nous (ma femme, mes trois filles et moi), avons passé une semaine fantastique dans la maison de David. La maison est parfaitement conforme à sa description. Tout ce que l'on peut attendre pour 6 personnes est disponible. 3 grandes chambres joliment décorées et leurs salles de bains, un grand séjour avec cuisine équipée (électroménager haut de gamme). Lors de la récente rénovation de la maison, tout a été très bien pensé et mêle une décoration très soignée et un équipement high-tech: cuisine, télés LCD, lecteur blu ray, wifi; et, pour les mélomanes comme notre famille, un piano électronique (avec casque et de nombreuses partitions). C'était donc très plaisant de loger dans cette maison. La maison est idéalement située dans Londres, avec de nombreux bus à proximité, qui permettent ainsi une visite aisée de la ville, soit dans les traditionnels bus londoniens à double étages, soit en marchant ! De nombreuses commerces sont à peine à quelques minutes. Notre accueil par David a été très agréable, utile et complet, soit avant notre arrivée par les conseils prodigués par David, soit à notre arrivé: David nous a alors amicalement accueilli tout en nous expliquant efficacement ce qu'il fallait savoir de la maison pour être autonomes. Enfin David a aussi été très arrangeant lors de notre départ, afin que tout soit le plus facile possible - Encore merci. En conclusion: Si vous recherchez un logement de ce type de taille pour un séjour à Londres, je vous recommande définitivement cette maison très bien située. Elle est décorée et équipée avec soin, gout, et l'accueil prodigué par nos hôtes de qualité.

We loved David's place. Super convenient to everything we needed - very short walk to multiple Underground stations. Everything was exactly as promised - process couldn't have been easier. Our host was out of town, so we didn't meet him, but we could reach him directly should we have needed him, but we didn't because everything was super smooth. We'll be back...

We stayed at David's flat with our three young children (ages 5, 3 and 1) and my parents. It's beautiful, extremely clean and in a great location - very central and the Farringdon station is accessible for strollers. Communicating with David prior to our stay was easy and fast. We didn't need to communicate during our trip because everything was so well set up. Would recommend David's flat for a wonderful stay in London.

David's apartment is beautiful, furnished with style. My daughter says it could be in a magazine. The kitchen is amazing! Sitting area in the living room is very cosy. The neighborhood is great- close to the tube, train station and some major attractions. Lots of places to eat nearby including a fun street market. We would for sure come back or recommend to friends.

We are a family of five (three boys: 12, 14, and 15) from Maryland who came to see the sights and relax over Easter break. David was an awesome host: very communicative and helpful throughout. (We never actually met in person, but he was available and made others available for any problems that might have arisen during the stay. None did.) Everything (check in, check out, and all in between) was so easy. His place is exactly as described and pictured: spacious and well laid out. Very clean upon our arrival. Comfortable soft beds were easy to make up: so easy even teenaged boys could do it! Well equipped kitchen and high end appliances in both kitchen and laundry. Plenty of cupboard/closet space. Loved having three bedrooms and three baths for our family of five. I guess I should say that if you have mobility issues (or a baby), the stairs might be a drawback. With regard to location, the house is about equidistant to Farringdon and Chancery Lane. Not far from Holborn, either, so if you're a light packer and enjoy a 15 minute walk, it's a straight shot from Heathrow. I'd not previously stayed east of Bloomsbury, and I must say that it was a welcome change. Active during the day, quiet at night, plenty of great restaurants along Clerkenwell and around Smithfield market. Highly recommend this house and these hosts!

David's home was exactly as described. The kitchen, living space and three full baths were incredibly comfortable for our family of five. If you have been researching a home like this to rent, don't hesitate to book with David!

I'm a musician/teacher/pianist living in London. I have lived in my central London modern mews house for 15 years and my American partner has recently completed a total refurbishment of my house. I enjoy London life regularly going to concerts, shows and plays. The restaurant scene in the locality is forever growing and boasts a wide range of choice from Leather Lane market which has many food trucks to the other extreme of high end restauarants not far away in Smithfield, the City of London, Covent Garden. We enjoy going out to eat but as my partner is a chef staying at home is like going to a restaurant, hence the chef's kitchen!

We're often travelling but are always easy to contact and want anyone who chooses our home to have a most enjoyable and comfortable experience.
