À propos de ce logement
My place is close to historic Royal William Yard (listed buildings, art gallery, restaurants & boutique shops); Theatre Royal Plymouth; Plymouth Lido; Radiant Art Gallery; Plymouth University. You’ll love my place because of the warm vintage ambiance; contemporary kitchen with espresso machine & fresh-ground coffee; view of the park; sound of church bells; snuggly bed & fluffy eiderdown; roll-top bath; our cuddly Dachshund. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers.
This is a cosy double room in the top of a Victorian Town house which sits on the edge of the lovely leafy Victoria Park in Central Plymouth.
Built in the 1890s by Lord and Lady Edgecumbe, the house retains many of its original features and your stay with us not only allows us to meet lovely new people, but supports us to continue renovating this beautiful historic building.

You have your own room in the top of the house (two flights of stairs) with a luxury thickness futon topped with with 2 inches of memory foam for extra snuggliness.
The family bathroom has just been renovated with a claw-footed roll top bath.
You are welcome to relax in the drawing room throughout the day and the evening, and to eat in the kitchen-dining room (a very modern space, which is in the cellar.) Our daughter is a barista and loves to practice her coffee making skills, or we can leave you instructions on how to use the espresso machine. You're welcome to use our kitchen to cook.
In the late spring, throughout summer, and in the autumn our fairylit cobbled garden is a lovely place to relax, drink a glass of wine, and watch the dogs chase balls in the park.
We have wifi and the area has strong mobile coverage.

Your hosts are local cultural professionals who run the only art gallery in Europe which is curated by children and young people. We also run a renowned restaurant and tea house in the art gallery.
We are very friendly and love having guests. We're happy to point you in the direction of all the best places to eat, drink, and have fun. We speak a little french and a little german, and are very happy to help you with learning local language when we're around.
We tend to be quite busy people, so sometimes we are here in the evenings or daytime, and sometimes we're not.
The house is approached by 1 40 metre cobbled terrace which is only accessible on foot.
The house is a four storey townhouse and we don't recommend it for anyone who finds stairs a challenge.
We don't have a cot but there's room for a small travel cot in your bedroom.
We have a small puppy who is very friendly and will be keen to play with you; he lives on the bottom two floors and doesn't have access to bedrooms.
