Overall we had a lovely stay, but we did have some trouble getting set up, particularly with check-in.
We arrived at 11am for check in, as advertised. The home was not ready for us to move in until around 2-3pm, during which time we were invited to enjoy the pool/restaurant, but really wanted to unpack after our journey. We then went to reception to get the keys but were asked first to provide evidence that we'd paid. We eventually found the air bnb receipt from a month previous and showed it, but initially were told that this wasn't sufficient, and that we needed to present them our online banking to show that the money had left our account. After around half an hour they found our booking, so we paid for our sheets and towels and were shown to the house.
There were only beds for 6 people, as the advertised sofa-bed and single bed in the communal space were missing. The sofa bed was brought to us about an hour later. The kettle was broken and leaking, and we returned it but were never provided with the promised replacement. Also there were not enough pillows for the 7 of us, and despite paying for 7 sets of bedding we were only given 6.
After these initial setbacks, the home itself was lovely. There was enough space for all of us, and the private pool was a lovely bonus, which we used often. I think the management of the property was sub-par, but the home was exactly what we needed. We walked to L'Estartit once or twice, about an hours walk. There was also a communal pool and a restaurant on the site, but we never actually used either, preferring to cook for ourselves or use the private pool.
