[Rule 1] Take off shoes at the entrance. No shoes in the room, please.
[Rule 2] Please register your official ID at the Air BNB, or provide a copy (photo) to the host (Emily) via email. prior to your stay for the security and Japanese government regulation purposes. (Hotels/Inns in Japan are, in principle per regulation, required to confirm the guests information, although, AirBNB does not require us to do so.)
[Rule 3] Please try not to make a big noise when you are in the room and also at the street outside the house as well. (as it is very quiet neighbors..)
[Rule 4] PLEASE DO NOT allow any visitors in the room without informing the host (Emilly) in advance. Basically, no more than 2 persons allowed in the room. THANK YOU!

Originally from Yokohama (Japan), and lived Tokyo and now based in both Kyoto and Tokyo.
I also had lived many other places overseas (total more than 20 years), including New York (USA), Firenze (Italy for home stay), Canada (Working Holiday & Home stay), Manila (Philippines), and had visited for business to many other Southeast Asian countries.
Native Japanese, and very fluent in English.
