I stayed here for a week in February. Three days alone and then four days with my wife. We're a young Canadian couple.
-location is close to the beach
-price is good if you have 3-4 people
-space is nice and AC works well
-despite being on the 43 floor, there are a LOT of ants. On the floor, in the cupboard, on the counters. I probably killed over 100 ants during my stay.
-fridge problems. I cook my own food and so I depend on a reliable fridge. The fridge provided is very small, like a small little cube that can hold only a few things. The fridge overheated during the day and all my food went bad. Also, my butter melted all over the fridge and leaked making a big mess. You can imagine my frustration.
-cleaning supplies. When I arrived there was a sponge on it's last breath and a tiny bit of dish soap. There was nothing else in terms of cleaning supplies for me to clean counters/floors/dishes etc. As I was there for a week, there was a lot of cleaning I wanted to do to maintain the space, so the lack of supplies was quite annoying.
-slowest elevator in Vietnam. To service the top 25 floors there was only 3 elevators. If you were LUCKY, you could get up to your room in 5 minutes. On average you would wait 5 minutes for an elevator, hope to get on, then stop on 7 floors on your way up, overall it would take 10-15 minutes. Needless to say, don't depend on getting back to your room if you need to use the bathroom.
-Check-in questions. As Tiger never seems to be in Nha Trang, his 'staff' handle the checkins of the apartment. The person who let me in spoke no English, and had to run around for the first 10 minutes as the apartment was not prepared from the previous guest. Not his fault, but he couldn't answer any of the questions I had.
-BANG BANG BUZZZZZ. Three of the days, there was some construction going on in the apartment above us (or next to us, it was hard to tell). This began at 7am and ended after lunch. It was LOUD DRILLING and HAMMERING that sounded like it was happening in the same room as us. It was incredibly annoying. Tiger said this was some emergency construction, but it seemd like they were just doing regular work.
As you might expect, I wouldn't recommend this place to couples, people who want to cook their own meals, or anyone who wants to stay more than a day.
This place may be worth it for BIG groups who will only EAT OUT and GET UP EARLY and leave.
