This desirable home is close to the city center, nightlife, and public transport. I’m thinking that you’ll love the house because of the neighborhood, the light, the comfy bed, the coziness, and the kitchen. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families.
I speak fluent French and limited Spanish.
*See highlighted areas below at the very least :)
Please be mindful of the impact your group has on the neighborhood.
We want to be able to continue hosting guests and this depends on our neighbors continuing to enjoy their residential neighborhood.
This is why we *don't allow parties of any sort* in the house. A party can be loud and impact other people living in the building or the neighborhood, even if there is no music on and you are just hanging out drinking and talking.
Please be mindful of noise when you go in and out and especially late at night and *keep the noise low.* You will notice that no one else in the neighborhood makes noise when the enter or leave their homes, and it's important that the neighborhood stay that way. If you view your stay as living in a quiet neighborhood rather than staying in a fun motel, there will not be any problems.
There are lots of places in the neighborhood where you can hang out and enjoy food and drink together both indoors and outdoors. We recommend Venti's, which has 20 beers on tap and good food, French Press Coffee, which is known for excellent crepes, and ACME, all an easy walk away.
We are sorry we are not able to allow pets as some guests are allergic to pets.
Lockbox for keys is located on the wall on the left as you head toward the stairs to go up into the studio apartment above the garage.
The lockbox code will be given to you after booking.
Coffee is in the lazy Susan corner cabinet above the coffee maker.
Garbage is under the microwave, not under the sink.
Garbage cans are next to the garage: grey is trash, blue is recycling, glass goes in blue box only, not the blue garbage can. Garbage day is Thursday, 6:45 AM
WiFi password is "dough5267faucet" and is located on the side of the modem, which is to the left of the TV in the living room.
The key works on all locks. To open the front door lock turn to the right. All other door locks are standard and turn to the left to open. Sometimes the front door lock is a bit hard to open and the key needs to be jiggled and maybe turned the opposite direction first. Sorry about that.
*Please leave the home in the same condition you found it.
Dishes in dishwasher
Counters and sinks cleaned
Messes on floor and carpet cleaned
*My cleaning lady will take care of typical deep cleaning, so there is no need to do that--showers, toilets, washing towels and sheets (you don't need to make the beds), mopping floor
* 1 car maximum, 2 on rare occasions. I need you to park in the garage and it's too tight a squeeze for two cars. If you have two cars, check with me to verify that one will be parked in the garage at all times, and we have to make sure that it will fit (a Suburban won't fit, for example, and a Honda Pilot is a tight squeeze). For longer term rentals I could move out the bicycles to accommodate two small cars.
