We stayed in one of the Grünberg House cabins for a week last week, and had the best time. The cabins are a short hike up the hill from the main lodge; they are small and rustic, but were perfect for my husband and I and our German Shepherd. We spent some time in the common areas of the lodge in the morning for Leah's *amazing* breakfasts, and getting acquainted with some of the other guests at the large picnic-style tables; in the evenings, we had a great time playing pool, or relaxing in the bar area, taking advantage of the free wifi, and we even watched a show on the big-screen TV one evening. The owners, Duane and Leah, couldn't have been more accommodating, friendly and communicative, and are clearly dedicated to keeping their guests happy; we loved chatting with them and getting to know them.
The location couldn't be better: 10 minutes to Waterbury, 20 minutes to Sugarbush, and Stowe, Montpelier and Burlington were all an easy drive -- and so much to see and do (and eat and drink) in between. We'll definitely be back (if we don't move to the area first)!
