My apartment is minutes to the heart of vibrant Williamsburg, Bushwick + Bed Stuy. You’ll love the peaceful ambiance, the comfy bed, the view of the Empire State building, the kitchen tools, the modern decor and the quick commute. My place is great for solo adventurers and business travelers alike. Be my guest and get a glimpse of authentic Brooklyn living!
The space is a charming, light-filled 2 bedroom/1 bath apartment with great views of the Empire State Building. You will be staying in a lovely private room with a very comfortable bed.
Located on a quiet, residential street, the atmosphere is calm and inviting. The building is over 100 years old, but the apartment is newly renovated. I am often away at work during the daytime, and I love to relax in the evenings-- cook dinner, listen to some music, and perhaps have a friend over for a glass of wine. I love to meet new people and chat with guests, and I am also happy to leave you to do your own thing. Please feel free to come and go as you like!
I am on the 3rd floor and am happy to assist you carrying any luggage upstairs when you arrive if I am home.
The kitchen is equipped with a gas oven, stove, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, toaster oven, french press, cooking tools, spices, olive oil, tea and coffee. You are welcome to use all of this! **Please note that I do not have a microwave.** I do have an oven, toaster oven and stove for heating food.
Laundry is very conveniently located in the basement (let me know if you plan to do laundry-- you'll need to use a special laundry card. $2 a load).
The building also allows rooftop access if you would like to check out the view and enjoy the fresh air.

I work full time, Monday-Friday 10-6, but I am usually around in the evenings and am always available to answer any questions via text or Airbnb message. I love to meet people and am happy to chat and give recommendations for things to do around NYC.
Please read my Guidebook for recommendations on things to do around the neighborhood! It's filled with great local tips.
Hello! I'm Kaitlyn, an artist and museum educator living and working in New York. Originally from Atlanta, I have lived in NYC for 7 years.
I am an avid traveler and love to meet people from all over the world. When I'm not in the studio or in the museum, I enjoy exploring everything that New York's neighborhoods have to offer: gallery hopping on Thursdays, picnics in McCarren Park, mini excursions to Rockaway Beach, perusing local farmer's and flea markets, and brunching with friends on Sundays.
I recently moved into my dream Brooklyn apartment and would love to share my wonderful new space and location with you.
I look forward to hosting you!
