My apartment is close to public transport- 5 min walk, the airport - 15 mins drive, the city centre - 6 mins on train, parks, art and culture, including the famous museums, Kelvingrove and Riverside Transport Museums - all walkable from here. Also close to SECC and Hydro for concerts & exhibitions etc - approx. 25 min walk. You’ll love my place because of the location, the ambiance, the outdoors space, and the people. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers.
My apartment is on the ground floor of the prestigious development at Glasgow Harbour, on the River Clyde. There is easy access to the private, south facing patio and beautifully tended communal gardens beyond.
The room itself is primarily a double bedroom, but I also have a single pull-out bed that can easily be set up within the room for a 3rd person for a small extra charge per night. There are two cupboards in the bedroom - the large one is empty for your use, with hanging rail, hangers and a hanging compartmentalised unit, floor space and a large shelf. The smaller cupboard is storage of my own, but no access to this will be required during your stay.
I provide a continental style breakfast that I serve to you at the dining table at a reasonable, mutually agreed time. That sounds formal, but I can assure you it is totally relaxed and homely. The breakfast will include freshly baked soda bread, cereal, croissants, preserves, tea (various) and/or coffee. Should you have any allergies or dietary requirements, please let me know and I will do my best to cater accordingly.
WHO LIVES HERE:
I live here and sometimes my partner will be here too. I occasionally have visitors who will be of no disturbance to my guests. However, during your stay with me, no one will enter your bedroom or use your bathroom. They will be exclusively for your use. All linen and towels are freshly laundered for each guest stay. I provide shampoo, conditioner, soap, shower gel and a hairdryer.
Please note there is strictly no smoking in any area of the apartment, thank you.
Accès des voyageurs
I will be here to welcome you to my home. Check-in is anytime after 4:30pm, but it's always helpful to know when you expect to arrive. Due to work commitments I have had to change my check in time from 4pm to 5pm, (unfortunately there are only 'on the hour' options on Airbnb website) but if you need to check in between 4:00-5:00pm, please check with me, as I don't work every day.) Check-out is by 10:00am.
Guests have exclusive use of the bedroom and private bathroom. Breakfast will be served at the dining table in the open plan living room at a mutually agreed time.

INTERACTION WITH GUESTS:
I will be there to greet you myself. I believe it's important that I welcome guests to my home personally, and to make sure the accommodation meets their expectations and needs.
Should guests wish to join me, and sometimes my family, in the living room, or to watch TV with us, you will be welcome to do so, although there is a TV and DVD player in the guest bedroom, but I know that that may not feel as homely sometimes. I am a sociable person and am more than happy to socialise with my guests in my home. On the other hand, I respect their need for their own space - it's entirely up to my guests; it's their trip, and I will accommodate accordingly.
When arriving and leaving please do so without causing disturbance to the residents of the other apartments. Should you arrive with muddy/dirty footwear, please leave them inside by the front door. Slippers (washable) are available should you wish to use them. Many thanks.
- No takeaways or meals in the bedroom please
- Please be mindful not to disturb other residents in the building when arriving and leaving. Thank you
