The place was decorated in a hunting/fishing mountain cabin theme with high quality furniture and finishings. Location is very remote and on the water which is just what we wanted. Wish we could have spent more time there and would certainly stay again.

One of the most beautiful places we've ever been. The lake was perfect and the smoky mtns backdrop was an added bonus. Kent was a great host and was there when we needed an answer. The lodge was very private and quiet. Extremely clean and comfortable. Highly recommended

Our stay was awesome! The cabin is well decorated, inviting and very comfortable. The view from the deck is beautiful. Getting down to the dock is very steep and difficult to maneuver. Kent was very gracious and offered to drive us down. My husband did walk down and fished from the dock. Also at the end of the road we found where you can swim, fish or put a boat in. We would definitely recommend this to anyone who appreciates quality, value and gracious hosts.

This was a wonderful vacation spot for seclusion, relaxation, and listening to the nature. I'd suggest it to anybody and I'll go back myself! It was so clean and the bed was ammmazing. Not to far of a drive to get into town for adventure, then back "home" for a relaxing evening of the deck

We had a great time returning to Douglas Lake. We love this lake! It's super clean and not too busy with traffic. Boat ramp is at end of road. We brought our jetskis. Cabin is clean and has everything you need. Steep walk to dock which wasn't an issue for us, just don't want to forget stuff when you leave to go on the lake. Kent did drive us up hill a couple times and offered to take us again if we wanted. Short drive to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge for dinner and other activities. Overall great experience.
