Fladda Chuain is a newly refurbished traditional cottage, set in a rural crofting community. The cottage is tastefully decorated and furnished. It sleeps up to six, with 3 double bedrooms. There are private gardens to the front and rear. The cottage is well equipped throughout.
As you will see from the pictures, the cottage has exceptional views of the outer Isles. It is located approx. 30 minute drive from Portree and 10 minute drive from Uig, where you can jump on a ferry to the outer isles. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, including a dishwasher, oven, hob, microwave, etc. There is a washing machine in the ample utility area. There is a DAB radio with Bluetooth. There is a TV with Freeview & BlueRay DVD player in the sitting room. There is also an Amazon Firestick where you can select a range of shows and movies.

You will have access to the complete home. Downstairs comprises of 2 double bedrooms, sitting room, dining room, shower room, kitchen, utility room and WC. Upstairs comprises of semi open plan double bedroom and bathroom (does not include a shower). There is adequate off street parking.

Guests who may have any questions can speak with their hosts who live in the house next door (An T'Iasgair), if they are at home. Although it is the intention of the hosts to let the guests enjoy their stay without interruption.
Nearest shops, filling station, pubs and restaurant are 5-6 miles away in Uig. Although, if you wish to get a full selection of shopping, you should do this in Portree where there is a supermarket, 22 miles from the cottage. Guests can also enjoy a ferry trip across to the Outer Isles from Uig. Walks for all levels of fitness in the surrounding areas. Places of interest nearby include Flora MacDonald's Monument, The Museum of Island Life, Quiraing, dinosaur footprints and The Old Man of Storr. There is also a beautiful walk to Loch Sneosdal directly from the property. The enchanting Fairy Glen, as seen in Stardust the movie, is approx. 10 minute drive, by Uig.
