One block from the inner harbour, on Government Street and located in the heart of the tourism district just walking distance to a wide variety of fine restaurants, is where you will find this exclusive penthouse. The rows of storefront and upper storey windows of this building provides an intermediate connection between the historic Old Town and Chinatown.

What sets this meticulously restored building apart is that it meets modern building requirements, yet preserving one of Victoria’s heritage treasures, the famous 123 year old Victoria hotel. Originally built in 1892 as a first class hotel designed by architect Thomas Hooper, it is now the perfect blend of modern facilities.

The private, beautifully landscaped, 800 sq ft roof terrace and garden overlooks the popular intersection of Government and Johnson streets. This gem is truly one of a kind!

• Two spacious bedrooms, two bathrooms; sleeps max 4 adults; 1 teen/child. A shower in 2nd bathroom and tub/shower combo in the master en-suite.
Overnight guests are NOT allowed. Any additional person may be considered at an extra charge per night.

• 13 foot ceilings with 8ft tall original sash windows, facing south and east that ensure maximum sunlight.

• Original red brick walls and 18” by 12” douglas fir beams.

• A rooftop den which can be used as a yoga/workout room or used as a spear bedroom for that extra child or teen since it has a pull out sofa bed.

• Beautiful teak floors throughout.

• Fireplace.

• The total sq ft is 2,073; suite is 1273 sq ft, plus the 800 sq ft roof terrace and garden.

• Central heating.

All the extras that our guests would need upon arrival are provided.

We reserve the right to request CA$250 security deposit. Amount refunded once there are no damages or breakages, fair wear and tear excepted.

Over 60 days prior to arrival-100% refund
30-60 days prior to arrival-forfeit 50% of deposit
30 days or less prior to arrival-forfeit 100% of deposit. This will be credited towards a future stay with us. Kindly note the website cancellation policy for your own info.

Very beautiful and fully equipped condo. We travelled with another couple and a 4-year old and had a perfect stay. Great location.

Location was very good. Unable to use roof-top sitting/fire pit area due to weather conditions. Not Graham's fault; bad time of year. Amenities were as expected ..... no complaints. Owners provided a Keurig for our use and for which we were most grateful.

Wendy and I are good friends of the previous owners. We often visited Carole and Danny when they were in Victoria. I also was a guest of Carole and Danny in Jamaica. What wonderful people! While I never openly solicited the purchase of this property I expressed that if I ever was to move to a property of this type this would be the one – high ceilings, character and best of all an open patio with a gas fire pit. Close to the action yet incredibly peaceful I mentioned lately that if Carole and Danny were to ever sell this property I would purchase the same. And so the torch passes!

Wendy and I live in Cordova Bay in Victoria in a beautiful property we are renovating. We love the idea of sharing the Victoria experience with people from all over the world. Both Wendy and I love travelling but we treasure the time we spend in Victoria. We would be pleased to help you make your stay a full one.

Wendy was born in Montreal, and moved to Dryden, Ontario before moving out west. Wendy is a majority owner of business that operates throughout North America she spends five weeks of her summer in a family cottage at Blue Lake, Northwestern Ontario. Like Carole and Danny our properties reflect who we are. Wendy has three adult children, two of which live in Victoria.

I was born in Edmonton, Alberta, moved to Lethbridge, and then returned to Edmonton where I practiced law in a firm I founded. In 1993 I moved to Salem, Oregon to earn my MBA and Dispute Resolution Certificate. I founded a software company during the internet boom. I became a dual citizen (Canada/US) and then returned to Victoria 2010 where I practice law and help in the operation of Wendy’s company. I have two adult children both of whom live in Oregon.

We invite you to enjoy this property and explore beautiful Victoria. When I first moved here I was skeptical of Victoria’s renowned beauty and restful pace. I am now am a true advocate for the culture and activities in the area..

Thanks to Carole, who is a photographer and artist, and Danny who loves polo, entertaining and relaxing Jamaican style for designing this beautiful place which will leave you with memories for years.
