A surprisingly spacious English cottage with very modern decoration inside. Surrounded by beautiful Essex country parks but also very convenient for visiting London. 7 minutes walk to station and 30 minutes to the city. Please see detailed description for more information.
The white cottage was originally built around 1900. It is entirely painted in white, so over the years it got the nick name “the while cottage” from the lovely neighbours. Although it is a old cottage on the outside, once step in you will find a fully modernised house with a long list of mod cons, giving you the best comfort of 21st century living.
The ground floor contains a large open plan kitchen/living/dining room, with 5 meter bi-fold doors opening out to the beautiful garden. The kitchen is fully loaded with Neff oven & microwave, SMEG gas hob with large wok burner, integrated washing machine, dishwasher, fridge freezer, as well as Brita filtered water jug.
The living room is packed with entertainment equipment including 50 inch plasma HD TV, Blu-Ray/DVD player, Surround Sound system. While normal holiday homes only have a few boring TV channels, here we have a Sky HD+ Box with full Sports & Movie subscription. If you feel the 50 inch TV is too small, there is a full HD projector completed with 109 inch screen for you to enjoy the football match or sci-fi movies. Plus, the sofa in the living room can convert to a double bed so if you do like the idea of home theatre with bed, be my guest:)
There are 2 other rooms on the ground floor: one being a double bedroom with bay windows to the front. The other one is a single bedroom with en suite toilet. On the first floor there are 2 double bedrooms (1 with en suite toilet), 1 single bedroom and a family bathroom.
The garden has BBQ, outside table and seats for relaxing.
