The Inkling is a separate apartment attached to a Victorian home built in 1890. It is close to Old Town Auburn, restaurants and dining, family-friendly activities, the American river, and many trail heads. Although it is less than .5 miles from downtown and less than a mile from old town, it is an uphill walk to return and in the summer the walk can be very warm. There is also an enclosed grassy area for our canine guests. We live in the main house with our two small dogs, Alice and Charlie.
The Inkling offers a relaxing place to read, sleep, or enjoy the sunset with a glass of wine. If you're active, it is close to bike and running trails. Shops, restaurants and trailheads are nearby,
