The room offered by Anabel was pretty good for two people (I was staying with a friend). The access is independent, so you can be free to get in the room and go out whenever you want, and it has two full-size beds. Anabel welcomed us with juice. She is able to speak and understand English fairly well, and her husband (less present than her, but still very available to provide info) can speak a nearly excellent English.
The room is pretty nice, maybe the only thing that is missing are hangers or dressers where you can keep your clothes, but it was not a big issue. Water pressure in the shower was acceptable, mostly the same as in other Cuban houses were I have been staying, and water temperature was good. The room has a small refrigerator, where beverages are already available if needed (they are not free), or you can use it to keep your own beverages.
When I booked I was concerned about the location, as I thought the place would have been isolated, but the house is anyway in town, and the walk to the main square (just 10 minutes) through the streets of Viñales is nice and didn't bother me at all. Just make sure to write the address clearly and try to identify where the house is, as we had some issue finding the place. I guess people in town tend to identify the houses by the name of the house or the name of the owner, so make sure you bring both these pieces of information with you, along with the address; they may be useful in case you or your cab may need to ask around.
The house has a nice rooftop from where you can enjoy an amazing view of the hills (the "mogotes"). You can decide to enjoy a breakfast or a meal on the rooftop (weather permitting) for reasonable prices.
We were able to get a horseback ride tour prearranged by Anabel for the same afternoon when we arrived as we were able to check in pretty early. Anabel was also available to arrange a collective cab to our next destination.
In summary, I would say I had a very positive experience at Anabel's place.
