We traveled in time and space at Leda's beautiful apartment. It's located between nice beaches to swim and some of the prettiest villages of the majestic mount Pelion. It's also a 5-minute walk from the famous Pelion train departure station of Ano Lechonia. The apartment itself was an immersion in beauty and history, full of antique furniture, masterful wall paintings and books. It's part of an estate within a green and inviting orchard, which Leda and her husband renovated in the last few years. You can tell there was perseverance and love of beauty and excellence in all of the different apartments and studios they created, each with a different theme and feel.
Leda gave us the warmest welcome with probably the best brownies we'd ever tasted. She gave us great tips for things to do in the area and restaurants for a tasty meal during our short stay. We're definitely coming back for a longer stay to explore the area without haste and to participate in the different activities organised by the locals (trekking at the kalderimi network, horseback-riding, sailing).
We thought that the place would also be perfect for family reunions. Our family would definitely have a great time for a week at Leda's place. I've already started planting the seeds with the Dutch part of the family!
