"Playa Bonita" sits nestled behind Casa Cozumel, the main house. It is on the second floor of our guest house with a private path and entry. This beautiful private guest home features a small kitchenette, cozy seating area, and full bath.
Playa Bonita at Casa Cozumel is located in the historic Deco district in the Monticello Heights community. It's a beautiful neighborhood and community of people.
Located near downtown SA, medical center, and SA International airport.
"Playa Bonita" is named after a beautiful beach in Cozumel. It is equipped with a comfortable queen size bed, cozy sitting area with DirecTV serviced television, small kitchenette with sink, microwave, coffee maker, plates, utensils, and glasses to have a meal, and a small refrigerator that will be stocked with some essentials to make your stay more comfortable. A full bathroom with standing shower, new towels, iron & board, and hair dryer provided.
The ACCOMMODATIONS are located in our guest home behind the main house. The home is APPROXIMATELY 400 square feet.
The SPACE IS PERFECT for the solo or business traveler, couples, or two close friends/family members.
We are off of a BUSY STREET in the heart of the city. You WILL HEAR SIRENS, TRAINS, PLANES, and VEHICLES often BUSTLING BY while lounging by the pool or using any of the outdoor areas. Your stay here can be a peaceful get away if you are able to ignore/overlook the city sounds.
We have made efforts to provide privacy and comfort and we hope you will find that the property and grounds are beautiful.

ALL REGISTERED AND BOOKED GUESTS are welcome to use the outdoor patios and pool. ANY ADDITIONAL VISITORS beyond the max of 2 will require a fee to have access to or to utilize the property or pool.
The pool is NOT HEATED. The pool and outdoor spaces are shared with other registered Airbnb guests (1-12 persons) and the homeowner.
The entry to the casita is to the left side of main house, which is gated, and a well lit path after sun down leads the way to Playa Bonita.

We respect our guests and their time. We will be available for interaction if that is what you would like, however, we respect if you prefer a low key check in and out with minimal interaction. It's your trip and vacation so we leave it up to you.
This is our home so we need to know who we have staying with us. You must be registered through the site yourself in order to book with us. Thanks for your understanding.
We have THREE DOGS mostly indoors but enjoy humans and basking in the sun. We allow them outside time at least twice a day when they usually take care of most of their needs.
**Our pups can be anti-social and sometimes aggressive towards other dogs/pets. Therefore, we are UNABLE TO HOST YOUR FURRY FRIENDS.**
Access to the POOL and to the PROPERTY is RESERVED ONLY for our GUESTS booking THROUGH Airbnb. We will NOT be ABLE to ACCOMMODATE GATHERINGS large or small during your stay.
ONE OFF CURB PARKING spot available, located in back of the property, not on the main street. Gate code provided once you book. PLEASE DO NOT PARK OR BLOCK THE ALLEY.
QUIET HOURS 10pm-7am. We are in a tight knit community so please be respectful of our neighbors and keep volumes at a respectable level.
We're in the heart of the city and RIGHT OFF OF A BUSY STREET across from a business as stated previously. So, SIRENS, TRAINS, PLANES, and VEHICLES are often BUSTLING BY as well as foot traffic off the Main Street.
THE OUTDOOR SPACE IS NOT A QUIET, OFF THE BEATEN PATH LOCATION. We have made efforts to provide a pleasant and private atmosphere. Neighbors DOGS MAY BARK, usually only when there's foot traffic/unfamiliar vehicles in the alley during the day/evening. They're usually kept inside overnight.
As you are tucked away in the back of the property street noise is not extremely loud, but it's not likely to have complete silence or hear crickets.
It is what you make of it. It CAN BE A PEACEFUL GET AWAY IF YOU ARE ABLE TO IGNORE/OVERLOOK THE CITY SOUNDS.
VISITORS MUST BE APPROVED PRIOR to your stay and may stay at an additional fee. Airbnb guest plus 1 do not need additional approval.
Please bear in mind the age of our property is 88+ years and the eccentricities that come along with that.
Some food and snack items will be available in the kitchenette area. You may also find a gift waiting for you when you arrive. We will try to have coffee from local coffee shops available for you to brew yourself.
Due to the pool, OUR GUEST HOME and PROPERTY is NOT EQUIPPED to HOST FAMILIES with YOUNG CHILDREN or CHILDREN UNDER the AGE of 12.
POOL HOURS: 7am-9pm
NO GLASS in pool area. Usage of pool is at OWN RISK and no one under 18 in pool area without adult supervision. Towels for the pool available in your home for drying off, weather permitting. We will have mosquito spray and sunscreen available as well.
Please keep VOLUMES to an acceptable level and remember to HANG UP TOWELS to dry, PICK UP any FOOD or DRINKS you take down with you and CLOSE GATE when you are done.
DEPOSIT all TRASH FROM your ROOM in OUTSIDE trash RECEPTACLES upon check out.
