Thanks again for coming guys & it’s unfortunate to hear you had difficulties with the BBQ. I did check in with you & was told that everything was great. Would have loved to have gotten that straightened out for you. The fire extinguisher is actually new, I leave it outside during the summer & it’s the perfect size for a small bbq and camp stove, sadly the meters and moisture don’t mix well together with the humidity so they don’t read accurately (same goes for the propane tank). As it is glamping, the amenities are basic and part of the quirks are what make is so dreamy for some. Then nook is definitely not for everyone. During the winter months when there are people having indoor fires, there is a large extinguisher kept inside by the wood stove. As we are in 20-30 degree heat, it’s not set up for winter use at this time. As for suggesting that the pictures are “old”, they’re actually from this year and nothing has changed about the location of the Nook, it’s accurately described in the listing as set beside a country road (you’d be hard pressed to count 20 cars go by on a busy day) and shared on the property with my home & myself. As it is glamping, much like camping (again part of the charm), it’s not like a cottage and is a rustic building there are some quirks & quarks. Needless to say, I’m sorry you were partially disappointed, but glad to hear you made the most of your experience.
