Myself, my husband and parents had a lovely week staying at Jowders. The location is excellent for exploring Cornwall and having a base that is away from the crowds. The cottage was beautifully presented and very clean. Peter and his wife Sally had left us a traditional Cornish cream tea for us to enjoy on our first day which was a lovely touch. The only thing I would point out is that parking at the cottage is very tight. Thanks for a great trip!

Beautiful cottage. Cream tea in the fridge was a big win and thanks for travel cot for our little boy. Clear and friendly communication and instructions for arrival. Will book again.

My boyfriend and I stayed in Jowders Cottage for 6 days and absolutely loved it - it was exactly what we were hoping for on our holiday in Cornwall. The house is quaint but spacious, making for a very comfortable stay. Marazion is a lovely, quiet little town that made an ideal base for us to travel from every day, and St. Michael's Mount is beautiful and so easy to visit. Peter was a great host and easy to contact in case we had any questions. We would love to stay again!

We didn't meet Peter (because he lives elsewhere) but we had no problems getting in from the excellent instructions that we received by email. Hand-written card and cream tea were awaiting, the lights were on. Our check-in was very good. Instruction folder was clear and comprehensive (important to read before trying to run a bath!). Peter was polite and friendly when we contacted him. The cottage is clean and comfortable - a perfect space for 4 people. Cosy with the gas fire on. Lots of books. It was the perfect place for our 3-day holiday and exploring the surrounding area.

Lovely cottage, had everything we needed for our first holiday away with a baby. Perfectly located to visit St Michaels Mount and could even see it from the bedroom window. Would recommend this accommodation to others and hope to return one day.

Just got back from a 4 day break at Jowders. What a wonderful place. The cottage is tucked down a very quiet and private court yard a stones throw from Marazion beach and the stunning StMichaels Mount. The property was immaculately clean and very comfortable with everything you could need to hand. The cottage has bags of character and charm and even has its own parking space which is a huge bonus. There is a small summerhouse in the courtyard which looked lovely, however we didn't use it as it was blowing a hoolie and freezing cold, however Jowders always remained cosy. We arrived to a warm welcome, a fresh cream tea, flowers and some essentials which was a great surprise. We will definitely return. Thankyou Peter and Sally.

Just returned from a fantastic week at Jowders. We were welcomed with some flowers and a lovely Cornish cream tea, along with enough tea, coffee, milk to settle in. The cottage is cosy but bigger than the pictures make it look, and feels very clean and fresh. It's only 5 minutes from pubs on either side, shops, beach, St Michaels Mount.. Yet as its down a side street it is very quiet and we didn't hear a thing when we were inside. Highly recommended to any visitors wanting to base themselves and explore Cornwall. Marazion itself has enough going on that you could stay put, but we travelled every day - no longer than an hour - and visited a lot of the local area. The cottage is well stocked with lots of tourist information, but local pubs and galleries have more information too. We will definitely be back to Jowders. Also, we had a dog with us who was very happy curled up next to the lounge fire every night.. We timed it well but note that in high season dogs are not allowed off the leash on some local beaches. Thanks!!

Peter and Sally Linton bought a holiday cottage in Cornwall in 2013. We fell in love with the area and moved to Perranuthnoe in 2014, just 5 minutes away from Marazion.
We aim to provide a home-from-home in our holiday cottages. Well-equipped and comfortable but not cut-glass expensive. Dogs are welcomed.

We're renovating our own home right now - a 1930s house overlooking Perran Sands. We'll stay out of your way whilst you are here but are on hand to help with anything you may need. You might see us on the beach between Perranuthnoe and Marazion, with Rosie, our English Setter cross.
