Our stay in Nghia Lo (or to be precise – the accommodation is situated +- 2 km from Nghia Lo city) was pretty great. We only had problem in the time of our arrival - we were expecting Martin personally (who speaks English well and who communicated with us the whole time before arrival), as he had never mentioned that he should not be in the homestay. We arrived somewhere the bus dropped us, there were people we didn´t know, no one could speak English, so we were not even sure if we are in a place where we should stay. After exchange of few (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) messages with Martin we found out we will be hosted by Martin´s family and that he is not meeting us. But to be fair, his family was gorgeous. The dinners were awesome and really delicious, the members of the family tried to help us planning trips and they also tried to communicate a bit with a translator.. So in general, I would recommend this place. BUT make sure before your arrival that you know the precise address and find out if Martin will be in the house or not...I also advise you to take some print screen of the payment for the accommodation since Martin seemed he is not very aware of how the payment works with airbnb.. One advice for your departure back to Hanoi - take a bus from the city centre at 1:30 p.m. - very comfortable red bus transporting only as many passengers as is the number of the seats in a bus (if you travel to Nghia Lo by bus arranged with Martin, you might find out why I am mentioning this :) But I can recommend stay in this homestay..everything was clean, the family is very friendly, food is great, you can arrange renting a motorbike with Martin, lovely nature.. Thanks for this experience especially to your family!

Our stay in Nghia lo was great, the place is very nice, very close to the bus station and to the shops but still hidden and quiet. Our hosts were so kind a friendly even drove us to the bus station in the morning. Martin was really helpful and gave us a lot of information how to get there from Hanoi, traveling with local busses without knowing Vietnamese is sometimes not really easy:) thank you for everything:) we can definitely recommend this place.
