Need that quick get away from the city? My Carriage House is perfect for a long weekend of relaxing by the lake. Nestled in 70 ft oaks, it's peaceful, scenic, and fun! Newly finished 800 sq. ft. apartment, full kitchen, separate bedroom, full bath, very comfy and beautiful views of the lake and countryside. Paddle around the lake in my two kayaks, sit by the bonfire at night, fish off the dock, or just float in the lake. I have everything you need. Private deck, grill and table & chairs.
The views from the Carriage House are truly beautiful. Quiet, scenic...almost like living in a tree house on a lake. There are 15 steps up to the apartment but they're worth it. This 800 sq. ft apartment has all the amenities; full kitchen with breakfast bar, table seating for four, comfortable living room, 40" HDTV, super comfy queen size bed and dresser, full size bathroom with walk in shower, and air conditioning.

Guest have their own deck with gas grill and dining table and chairs. You are welcome to walk my property, use my kayaks (with life vest of course), have bonfires (I've got wood), fish off the dock (you must have license), or just float in the lake, I've got the floating chairs. Our gravel road is great to walk and you are only 20 minutes from Ann Arbor or the smaller towns of Chelsea, Dexter, and Saline which are quaint with great dining.

I'll be around to answer any questions in the evenings and weekends and some weekdays. If you need anything I'll do my best to help out. I spend as much time as I can outside in the summer, often times keeping the property in shape. I may start my own bonfire in the evenings and you are welcome to join in.
You will hear the garage doors open...possibly the only draw back but I don't do that often.
- This is a 750 sq. ft. apartment in my carriage house. Fully insulated and just recently completed. There are 15 steps up to the apartment but the stairs are worth it. The views are gorgeous...like living in a tree house on a lake! You won't be disappointed
- This is a one acre property which you are welcome to enjoy. If you'd like to use my kayaks you may, I have life jackets.
I'm a 65 year old semi-retired guy that loves my home and am anxious for others to enjoy the property and surrounding communities. I love to cook, work with wood, drink wine, and my family...especially my grandson (soon to be grandsons).
