The Tower is best suited for couples. The bedroom upstairs, where the bells used to be, commands a view of the entire town. Higher up, on the square terazza, you can sunbathe in complete privacy at what is one of the highest points in the community. At night you have a breathtaking view of distant hilltowns and starry skies that you had forgotten existed. In the summer, it may be hot during the day, but in the tower it is always refreshingly cool. To stay here is an unforgettable experience

I think of myself as a businesswoman. I established and ran a successful catering business in Oakville for fifteen years. Later I transitioned into the antique business. The real joy of my life (apart from my time with my family) are my stays in Larino, Molise, Italy (this is the town of my birth). My husband, a retired University Professor, and I spend up to six months a year in the historic center of this community in a tower that was built in 1312. Recently we restored the tower with stone floors, new kitchen, bathroom, and (gasp) central heating. To learn about the town you might want to search "Larino: the Miracle of the Molise". At that site you'll learn more about my lovely little Citta'. I love cooking, literature, fine furnishings, and the richness of living for half of year immersed in a town that has totally escaped what is known as "commercial tourism". In Larino you will rarely hear English spoken. This is the authentic Italy as it once was.
