The apartment accommodates families up to ten people very comfortably with its four rooms and its independent studio in the last floor. For the more numerous groups a common space and additional beds are planned. Air conditioning and a big terrace to enjoy marvellous sunsets on the Arno… 160 m2 of a typically Florentine house.
The house, at the edge of the Arno, faces the famous Duomo, Santa Croce, Uffizi, but also by crossing the bridge, the charming market of San’Ambrogio. The apartment occupies the last three floors, in the first one, a vast entrance leading to the dining room and the kitchen. A huge living room completes this floor, with a balcony for the smokers. By the beautiful stone stairway, we arrive to the first floor where are situated four rooms. Two of them include a marital bed, two others contain two single beds each. In the common space, a sofa bed. Finally the bathroom. There is the possibility to add a single bed in each room with a marital bed. The last level is composed of a big room with a sofa bed, a bathroom and a small kitchen. A rooftop terrace of 40m2 overlooks the city where one can observe magnificent sunsets emerging behind the Ponte Vecchio… At ten minutes walk from the Duomo by following the Arno, we pass by the district of San’ Niccolo where we find nice small restaurants as well as one of the last “Casa del Popolo” of Florence. One the other side, one shall visit the Piazzale Michelangelo and the charming church of San’ Miniato. The house, vast and bright was restructured by the sculptor Libero Andreotti, grandfather of the current owner.
