The house is in Albany County, in a small town called Watervliet. It is 2.3 miles from Troy, 7.5 miles from the State Capital, and 15 minutes from Albany International Airport.
This cozy apartment is street level and there is plenty of parking and a bus stop right outside the door.
It has a small dining area in the kitchen, a large living room, a separate bedroom and a private bathroom. Plenty of space for 2-3 people.
This apartment was recently renovated. Highlights include the cozy location, eat-in kitchen with new counters, all of the appliances and utensils you need, a large bedroom with an very comfortable bed and television. The living room is spacious and also has a TV. It is close to the Albany International Airport, New York State Capital and University of Albany/SUNY. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families.

Everyone works and/or travels so we may not be present 24 hours every day. However, you can always reach us through phone contact or e-mails. Your requests will be responded to very quickly. Your Co-Host lives upstairs on the top floor. They also work but are mostly around after 4:00 pm weekdays.
We do not allow pets. However if you have a service dog, there will be an additional charge for cleaning and it will be added to your bill upon your departure.
- The apartment is cleaned prior to each guest's arrival. When you leave, please do your best to leave the space in the same condition as you arrived, barring any normal usage.
We are certain that you will treat our home as your home. We want you to be comfortable and your stay to be pleasant and enjoyable. The amenities are there for you to use. We only ask that you be courteous to our neighbors and to future guests. Please remember that this is a residential neighborhood and also our home.
We do not allow pets. If you have a service dog, we will charge an extra $15.00 per night and we will ask for a copy of your companion's certificate.
Very important, there is no smoking inside the building.
Please respect our neighbors and refrain from creating loud noise.
Upon check-out, please strip the bed and place the linens and towels in the bathroom. Please put your trash in the bin right outside the back door.
Air Conditioners - Please be sure to turn the air conditioner off when you leave for the day. This helps us to keep the rental fees lower.
Stove and Oven - Please do not start cooking and leave the stove or oven unattended. There is a fire extinguisher in your room. Please let us know if you have trouble finding it.
Garbage- The garbage receptacles is right outside in the bedroom door in the back of the apartment. Please be sure to dispose of your trash and recyclables before it builds up too much. Thanks so much.
Please do your best not to leave food out in the open and to wash dishes as soon as possible. At the very least, rinse them out to get the food particles out of the way.
This is a very old building. Please be careful not to let solid food and hair down the drains.
For your safety, we have installed high-security locks on the doors. Please take care not to lose or bend them as they are very expensive and we will charge $50.00 if we need to replace them.
Checking Out -
On your way home, or to your next destination, please lock the door to your unit and return the keys to the combination lock-box.
For Continued Safety & Security of our building, family and guests: Please Be Sure To Spin The Dials On The Lock-Box After You Drop The Keys. Please leave a message on AirBNB or directly on my mobile phone to let us know that you have departed.
