Celebrate Endless Summer! This deluxe Santa Cruz vacation rental for 10 guests boasts beach views, a furnished patio, access to surfboards and bikes, and family-friendly amenities galore!

Surf with locals at Pleasure Point just a block away. Moran Lake Park Beach is only a half-mile away and offers picnic areas around a lush lagoon. Spend the day at the famous Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk (just over four miles away) for thrills, beach strolling, and snacking. There’s a healthy mix of nature and fast fun when you visit Santa Cruz.

At the four-bedroom ocean view beach house, you'll have a bright, clean place to rest up. Have a barbecue on the furnished patio - everyone can have their own seat, too! After dinner, lounge about on the cushioned patio chairs and reminisce about the day. The yard is also fenced off so kids can wander as they please.

Inside, take your pick of what to watch before the flatscreen TV with Netflix streaming and a gas fireplace for ambiance. The next morning, share breakfast around the vintage-style dining table. Fixing food will be a delight in the fully stocked concept kitchen with new stainless steel appliances and French press.

Ready for bed? All 10 guests will have their pick from the master with king bed, en suite bathroom, and wet bar, a second room with another king, a third with a queen, and a fourth with a set of twins. There’s also a day bed in the living room that pulls out into a spacious king! Meanwhile, there are three full bathrooms - and a half bathroom - to keep everyone happy.

WiFi and a new washer and dryer, surfboard, boogie board, two adult bikes (one with a child seat) and family-friendly amenities like a Pack and Play, baby gates, booster seat, high-chair, and crib are available for guests, too.

If you have extra time, make sure you visit the redwoods of the Santa Cruz Mountains. Both Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park (13 miles away) and Big Basin State Park (30 miles away) are worth the trip. For a memorable day trip drive 40 miles south to the Monterey Bay Aquarium.

THIS VACATION RENTAL AGREEMENT (Agreement) is by and between Vacasa, LLC (Company), for the Owner of this vacation rental property (Owner) and the Renter of this vacation property, who is solely responsible for the actions of their family, invitees, and guests (Renter).

SPECIFIC PROVISIONS OF RENTAL LOCATED AT

Due to the unique nature of the community where this rental property is located and the unique features of this home, there are some very important rules that must be followed at all times with respect to this rental. Any violation of these rules will result in immediate eviction from the premises and prosecution for any damages resulting from these violations.

Residential Community. This is primarily a community of year round residents who expect the community to be treated with respect and courtesy to the peaceful and serene environment that surrounds it. Please treat the neighbors and the property with the respect that you would expect as a full time resident. THIS IS NOT A PARTY HOUSE and no inappropriate behavior will be tolerated by the community or Vacasa, the police will be called immediately in the event that there is a disturbance. If the Police arrive at the house there will be a $500 charge to your reservation and all guests will be evicted. This fine is what the police dept. will charge the owner in the event of a vacation rental noise disturbance response. Additionally, all guests on the Endless Summer property are not allow to venture onto neighbors' properties.

Parking. You can only have 3 cars parked at the property at ANY TIME. This includes arrival and departure.  Please follow all parking signs in area.

Noise. Please refrain from making noise outside the home between the hours of 10 pm and 8 am. The city/county guidelines prohibit noise disturbances between those hours and the guidelines are strictly enforced. You will be responsible for any violations of these ordinances that occur during your stay. You can be evicted without any refund for any reported noise disturbances. This includes any outdoor areas around the property. (County Code Section 8.30.010)

Fireworks. Absolutely no fireworks of any kind are allowed on the property. Violation of this clause will result in immediate eviction and legal enforcement. The house is surrounded by a delicate ecosystem that is susceptible to fire so this rule must be followed at all times. Guest will be responsible for any damages resulting from use of any fireworks and a $500.00 fine will be applied if any evidence of fireworks is found on the property.

Smoking Policy. Smoking is prohibited on the rented premises. If smoking is found in the house you will be fined $200.00.

Pet Policy. No pets shall be allowed inside the premises, or brought onto the property unless Vacasa has authorized pets for your reservation, you have listed the pets in your reservation, and you have paid the applicable pet fees. Endless Summer is NOT a Pet Friendly Home.

Ordinances and Statutes. Renter shall comply with all statutes, ordinances, and requirements of all municipal, state, and federal authorities now in force or which may hereafter be in force, pertaining to the short term, vacation use of private homes.

Repairs and Damages. Renter's credit card will be authorized for $1500.00 over the total price of the rental as a security deposit in the event there is damage to the property.

Renter agrees to practice proper trash management (trash must be kept in closed containers and not allowed to accumulate (County Code Section 7.20.005, et seq.)) Renter shall keep and maintain the premises in a clean and sanitary condition at all times, and upon the termination of the tenancy shall surrender the premises to the Vacasa in the same condition as when received, ordinary wear and damage by the elements excepted. Linens and towels must not be removed from the premises. Please bring beach towels for your personal use, as they are not provided.

Liability. Renter shall defend, indemnify, and hold the Owner of the property and Vacasa harmless from and against any claim, loss, expense or damage to any person or property in or upon the premises or any area allocated to or used by Renter, or its invitees, arising out of Renter's use or occupancy of the premises.

Cancellation Policy. Rental payments of cancelled reservations are fully refundable within 24 hours of receipt of this agreement after your initial reservation. Rental Payments of cancelled reservations are refundable subject to a Cancellation Fee equal to 5% of the total price of the reservation up to 30 days prior to the reservation. Rental payments are non-refundable within 30 days prior to the reservation. Renter is not entitled to any other refund except at the discretion of Vacasa after receiving authorization from Owner.


Right of Entry.
A. Owner and Owner's representatives and agents have the right to enter the Premises, at any time, (i) for the purpose of making necessary or agreed repairs, decorations, alterations, improvements, for maintenance or to supply necessary or agreed services; (ii) to verify that Occupant has complied with the terms of this Agreement; or (iii) in case of emergency.
B. Owner and Owner's representatives and agents have the right to enter the Premises, upon reasonable notice, to show the Premises to prospective or actual purchasers, occupants, tenants, mortgagees, lenders, appraisers or contractors.

Check-In and Check Out Procedures. Upon final payment and upon acceptance of this rental agreement, you will be sent instructions for check-in and arrangement for keys. Check-in time is 4pm and check out time is 11 am unless otherwise specified. A $75 per hour fee will be assessed for failing to vacate the unit by the agreed upon check-out time.

Payment. An Advance deposit of half the total reservation is due at time of confirmation. If you have provided a credit card for payment, the credit card you provide at the time of your reservation will be automatically charged for this amount. Balance due, rent and room taxes plus any additional fees is due 30 days prior to your reservation. If you have provided a credit card for payment, the credit card you provide at the time of your reservation will be automatically charged for this amount. If you have made alternative payment arrangements, full payment must be received 30 days prior to the reservation. Reservations made 30 days prior to arrival require full payment. A $35.00 returned check fee will be due for all returned checks.

Keys. If you have lost or misplaced the keys to your rental property you must notify Vacasa before using force to enter unit. A fee of $20.00 may be charged to make duplicate copies of lost keys in addition to any locksmith fees. There is normally a key for your use inside the house hanging near the door.

Housekeeping. All homes require a one-time non-refundable cleaning fee. The cleaning fee for your rental unit is based on an average time taken to complete a general cleaning. In order to insure that the costs of cleaning are kept to a minimum, we ask that you attend to the following items before your departure. Failure to do so may result in additional cleaning charges billed at $35.00 per hour. 1) Wash dishes in sink or dishwasher. 2) Clean and empty BBQ grill. 3) Take out all trash to provided receptacles. 4) Replace all furniture to original locations. 5) Clean any excessive spills and attend to all stains when they occur. Please contact Vacasa if any spill or stain needs to be professionally cleaned to avoid permanent damage. Please do not throw any crab shells or other shells in the garbage disposal. If damaged, you will be responsible for repair or replacement.
HEATER Control in every room needs to be shut off or at 0 when checking out.

Additional Charges. Renter agrees to pay for any additional charges they may incur related to their reservation.

The Premises are for the sole use as a personal vacation residence by not more than10 adults (children under 12 years of age are not counted toward this maximum). (County Code section (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN)(d)(1)(D)). No other guests, visitors or persons are permitted for overnight stay. If the Premises are used, in any way, by more or different persons than those identified in this paragraph, (i) Occupant, Authorized Guests and all others may be required to immediately leave the Premises or be removed from the Premises; (ii) Occupant is in breach of this Agreement; and (iii) Occupant forfeits its right to return of any security deposit.

The maximum number of people that are allowed for celebrations and gatherings between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. is 14_. (County Code Section (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN)(d)(1)(D)).

The maximum number of vehicles that are allowed is 3 vehicles. 2 in driveway and 1 on street. Please follow all street rules about permits during peak season. Please Do not park in neighbors driveway area. Citation will be issued.(County Code Section (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN)(d)(1)(D)).


A BREACH OF ANY OF THE ABOVE TERMS MAY RESULT IN A FORFEITURE OF YOUR RIGHTS REGARDING THIS RENTAL PROPERTY INCLUDING LOSS OF RENT, AND EVICTION FROM THE PREMISES IF THESE VIOLATIONS ARE NOT REMEDIED IMMEDIATELY TO THE COMPLETE SATISFACTION OF THIS COMPANY ON BEHALF OF THE OWNER.

Policies:
A. The property shall not be used at any time by more than the amount of adults and children as per your reservation.
B. Pets are not permitted unless specifically noted in the reservation.
C. All guests under 21 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
D. No smoking is permitted on the premises.
E. No tents or other structures may be erected on the property.
F. Renter is liable for any damage to the property and agrees to accept charges to the card on file should damage occur during occupancy.
G. Cancellation Policy: Rental payments (less a 5% processing fee of the full reservation amount) are fully refundable up until 30 days prior to the reservation.
H. Trip Protection: If Trip Protection is purchased, you will receive a full refund for any nights of your reservation cancelled due to death in the family, illness, flight delays, flight cancellations, or road closures due to bad weather.

Dear Valued Guest,
We are pleased you have chosen Vacasa for your stay in Santa Cruz. While staying here in Santa Cruz please be mindful of your neighbors and Vacasa's strict no party policy, which includes any kind of illegal activity. Santa Cruz has a 24 hour noise ordinance with quiet hours from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. Please keep noise and music levels to a minimum. Violations of this ordinance can carry fines up to $2,000.00 as well as possible eviction without refund. Please note that this ordinance is strictly enforced. Do not exceed tenant occupancy (10 persons overnight and 20 persons for celebrations) or maximum allowable vehicle parking (3 vehicles). When parking, ensure that you are not blocking access to neighboring homes or trash receptacles. Do not leave trash outside unless secured in the proper receptacles in order to protect our local wildlife and avoid associated fines. This home is wonderful. There were 10 of us (plus a baby) and we fit very comfortably. Everything was just beautiful. There was a pack-n-play in the downstairs closet as well as a booster seat which made it so nice for our baby. It's so hard because it's Santa Cruz so we wanted to be out on the beach or walking around town. But, we also wanted to just stay at the home because it was so great. We can't wait to go back.

The beds are extremely comfortable. The house is immaculate and the showers are incredible. Loved our stay!
