Banbury House is a fully renovated character home located in the township high country of Mansfield, offering lakes, ski fields & alpine ranges to enjoy.
Comprising of 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, powder room, light spacious living, fully equipped modern kitchen with island bench adjoining meals area with a table to seat 12.
Accommodating 10 people this suits Families, couples and groups.
5 min walk to town offering a host of cafes, restaurants & pubs for your enjoyment.
To ensure your stay meets your expectations, we have provided the following information on how the house works, basic rules and most importantly local amenities.
House Rules – remember these are set so you and future guest get to enjoy a quality property!
Noise – we have neighbours and respect their space. Offensive noise and anti-social behaviour is prohibited
Visitors – you are restricted to 10 people sleeping at the property. Guests are responsible for Visitors
Gatherings/parties/functions – strictly prohibited
Parking – you can park in the drive way and specified areas in the street. No parking on grassed areas
Garbage & Recycling – there are bins in the pantry and the council bins are situated outside. If you are staying with us on a Thursday evening we ask if you could place the council bins on the nature strip for collection Friday morning
Security – please keep the house securely locked when you are not at the property
Smoking – this is strictly a NON SMOKING property. If evidence (including cigarette butts outside) of smoking is detected a $500 cleaning/deodorising fee will apply
Pets – NO PETS allowed
BBQ – we have a BBQ on the rear deck for guests use. We ask that you clean the grill after use.
Kitchen facilities – we have provided a fully equipped kitchen with basic fridge and pantry items. We trust you will respect our personal belongings. Please ensure you leave the facilities as you found then CLEAN & NEATLY replaced.

Open Fire Place – DO NOT USE, THIS IS NOT A WORKING FIREPLACE – any evidence of this being used will affect the return of your bond
BBQ – located on rear deck. Please turn knob on the gas bottle prior to cooking and turn off after use. Please replace cover over the BBQ when not in use and when the BBQ has cooled off.
Rubbish/Recyling – collection time early Friday mornings
Smoke-Free – this is a non-smoking property. If any guests/visitors smoke on the property they must be clear from the house, open doors and windows. All cigarette butts must be placed in a sealed bag or container and disposed of into the outside rubbish bin.
Refrigerator/Freezer - Don’t leave refrigerator/freezer doors open unnecessarily. Ice and chilled water is available from the fridge door
Pantry/Kitchen – you are welcome to use all equipment that is not locked away, please respect and clean thoroughly when finished
Laundry – fully equipped with front loader washing machine and clothes dryer. Refer to back of this booklet for instruction on use
Note; there are drying racks and a clothes line available for your use. Please refrain from leaving wet gear and towels on the floor
Security ensure all external doors are locked
Rubbish all rubbish is removed from inside the house
Dishwasher ensure all dirty dishes are stacked and dishwasher is put on
Personal Belongings check all rooms to ensure all your personal belongings have been removed
NOTE: Our expectation is that you leave the house in the same order as you found it. Whilst you have been charged a cleaning fee this does not cover the house left in complete disorder. Please ensure all dishes are washed, BBQ is left clean and the kitchen is left in good order. If it is not we will take additional cleaning costs out of your security bond.
