Thank you for your review Jordan, we're pleased you enjoyed your stay and thank you for the valuable feedback also. On a very serious note we just wanted to reassure you, and any other potential guests reading our comments, that under no circumstances would there be any asbestos sheeting left or stored anywhere on the farm. We adhere to strict health and safety regulations and would never endanger any of our guests, staff or family by exposing them to asbestos sheeting.
I'm sorry we were not as child friendly as you'd hoped too. We do have some farm machinery and materials kept orderly next to the farm warehouse, away from the cottages however we communicate to all guests in the booking correspondence that we are a working farm so they are aware there may be some farm movements but please do contact us if you feel this wasn't clear in our correspondence. Any suggestions as to how we could be clearer would be gratefully received so as to not disappoint any future guests.
We always want to ensure the safety of little ones (and the bigger ones) so we also always state in our booking correspondence that all children must be supervised at all times due to guest cars coming and going, some potential farm movements and also a large pond on site which we know is beautifully inviting for intrepid explorers!
Thank you as it is clear you appropriately supervised your children when staying and we're pleased you were able to make the most of the play area, which was built so that we could offer children a safe area to play in with adult supervision, away from the car park.
We will also double check the windows in your cottage as this has thrown us slightly as all the windows have safety latches on them. This is a valid safety point so we will make sure there hasn't been any sneaky goings on with any previous guests armed with a screwdriver (very rare but you'd be surprised!) and make sure all windows continue to be safe for little guests staying.
Thank you again for booking with us Jordan.
