Oceanfront, huge yard and gate provide privacy and room for fun for the whole family! There is 200 linear feet of beach frontage with several surf spots directly off shore, but the oceanfront is always calm enough for children's play, swimming and snorkeling. The water is clear and turtles are spotted nearly every day. Miles of beach provide for long walks.
Built in 1936, this home is on the historic register and staying here allows you to step back in time and experience the calm of old Hawaii. The main house has a large kitchen with views of ocean and backyard. A large great room, TV and day beds provide lots of gathering space. The house has ocean views and 3 bedrooms, each with a king size bed and its own bath.
The separate cottage is very spacious
and has a king size bed, a queen bed and a double daybed. There is a bar refrigerator and studio sink. The full bath has an additional open air outdoor shower...very island style. The laundry is located in this building.
Also recently added was a separate bunkroom with 2 twins and 2 fulls, a large screen TV and its own bathroom. This space is perfect for the kids in a multigenerational family rental.

The entire property is yours, house and cottage and even a playground for the kids! The house is a private, detached, single family, fenced in, beach front home with no other tenants on site.

We have a policy of no more than 15 people on the property at all times. Party animals look elsewhere. All people on the property must be registered guests. And this is not a gathering spot for parties and/or events without pre-approval. This is an order to honor and respect our neighbors as we take pride in being great neighbors. If you would like more information about the rules, please request a copy before making a reservation.
The state of Hawaii requires both the GET (General Excise Tax 4.712%) and TAT (Transient Accommodation Tax 9.25%) be applied to rent and fees, a total of 13.962%. (The Airbnb platform does not currently give us the ability to itemize and charge these taxes accurately.) In the meantime, after making a reservation all guests will be sent a separate contract with house rules. They will be required to pay the taxes by check which must be received at least 14 days in advance prior to arrival. We collect tax only, Airbnb collects all other rent and fees.
