Experience real Moroccan life with my family at the Berber Cultural Center, a social enterprise I set up in 2005 to share my culture and help the local community. We have 14 bedrooms and several beautiful communal areas. A homestay with us includes joining us in our daily activities, such as cooking, taking our sweet donkey to the well, local cultural events and breakfast at the weekly market. You can relax in our steam room and during the summer you can use our small open-air swimming pool.

I'm a former adventure tour guide who loves sharing Berber culture (and food) with the world. I live in my hometown of Imintantoute with my beautiful wife Fayza and my three amazing children, Anir (10), Lina (4) and Assia (1). My aunt and uncle, Fatima and Brahim, often stay with us, helping out with the cooking (you have to try Fatima's fresh-baked flat bread), the kids and the donkey, whose name is Donkey.
We love welcoming guests into our home so much that we've built 14 guest rooms and eight bathrooms. Fayza and Fatima love hosting cooking classes, and Brahim specialises in taking guests to the local weekly market for breakfast. My brother Jamal often drops by to give Arabic and Tamazight (the Berber language) classes.
