A bright double bedroom on the 2nd floor of our cottage & 2 single rooms on the 1st floor with exclusive use of the 2nd floor shower room. The cottage is within easy reach of M4 J32 & is especially handy for visiting medics, being situated opposite Velindre hospital & a stone's throw from the bus-stop to take the short trip into the city centre. It's an easy walk, (via the local park if preferred), into Whitchurch village with its shops & a variety of coffee shops, pubs, wine bars & restaurants.
A double guest bedroom is situated on the 2nd floor & is accessed via the original stone staircase (so unsuitable for the infirm) to the 1st floor & a traditional staircase to the 2nd floor. The room is bright & airy & consists of two single beds, work & wardrobe space. Another 2 bedrooms are available on the 1st floor, 1 with workspace, with a single bed in each. There is also a toilet & washbasin on the first floor. The shower room is adjacent to the double bedroom & is for the exclusive use of guests. Our cottage dates back a couple of centuries &, although it has been modernised & extended over the years, it still retains many of its original features.

Our cottage still boasts several of its original features, including a steep stone staircase leading to the first floor. As great care has to be taken whilst ascending & descending these stairs, we would recommend our home only to those who feel they could manage the stairs easily & do not have restricted mobility.
Paul & I are a young-at-heart, retired couple who enjoy travel, eating out & socialising, cinema, reading & visiting our two children. Paul is also a keen landscape photographer. We have lived in our lovely period cottage for over 30 years so we know Cardiff & the surrounding area very well. We are looking forward to sharing this knowledge with our guests & hope they'll love the capital, & all it has to offer, as much as us.
