Stanley Ghyll Cottage is a picture perfect detached 500 year old 4 star graded self-catering holiday cottage in the heart of the Lake District National Park. Within walking distance are England's highest mountain, Scafell, its deepest lake, Wastwater, steepest road, Hardknott Pass, and oldest working water mill, Boot mill. Stanley Ghyll has a brand new kitchen, installed in early 2018. The marble bathroom is stunning and the ground floor bedroom with kingsize bed and luxury linen is everything a couple could want. The downstairs bathroom and bedroom in this cottage also make it suitable for disabled guests or those with limited mobility. We are in the process of obtaining our Visit England Level 1 Mobility Accreditation.
