Échanges avec les voyageurs
We have tried most of the local restaurants and places of interest on the Kapiti Coast so we can share our thoughts about places to eat and things to see.
We are happy to share our space in the evenings but also respect that some people want privacy and will accommodate that as we have our own space in the house too.
As we live so close to Wellington we can also recommend things to do and see in the city which is easily accessible from our house by train so you dont have to drive and park in the city. The Wellington Central Railway Station is next door to Westpac Stadium and an easy walk or public transport to other main venues. It is easy to do day trips from the Kapiti Coast. We sometimes take the train into the city for dinner so we can relax on the trip back.
We belong to a local club called Vista which is on the waterfront and would be happy to take guests along with us for dinner or a drink or a game of pool.

My partner Marc and I have travelled a lot in our younger days and loved having new experiences and sharing cultures. We decided to open our home to other travellers who want to explore our part of the world so we can keep sharing those experiences and making new friends along the way.
We live in an executive home in a quiet neighbourhood that backs onto a lake which is why we called the house Tatou pounamu which means peacefulness. Our outdoor area under the grapes is a wonderful place to sit and relax.
We are conscious of how we impact on our planet and like to recycle and reuse wherever possible.
We have 3 gorgeous cats, 2 British Shorthair and a Persian, who we share our space and peacefulness with. They, like us, are pretty easy going.
