À propos de ce logement

Charming studio with exposed brick walls, 11 foot ceilings, and shared bathroom in an historic building that is located in the heart of downtown Seattle.

Le logement

My studio is centrally located in downtown Seattle. It is a fourth floor walk-up (no elevator) with a queen-sized bed, full kitchen, exposed brick walls, and 11 foot ceilings. The bathroom is shared with three other units and is located right across the hall.

The building is a former hotel that opened its doors in 1890. Shared spaces are filled with hints of the hotel's 126 year history and the playful and eccentric tastes of its current residents. This is a very old building and what it does not provide in perfection, it makes up for with charm and an amazing location.

Easy access to everything Seattle has to offer. Pike Place Market is a mere two blocks away, the water front and Big Wheel only three blocks. Seattle Center, home to the Space Needle, Museum of Modern Pop, Chihuly Gardens, and Pacific Science Center is a two block walk to the bus line and about a ten minute ride. Seattle Art Museum is right across the street.

Accès des voyageurs

Guests have full use of the studio, including the kitchen. The bathroom is a shared bathroom with three other tenants and as such limiting your time is appreciated. There is NO on site parking available.

Autres remarques

Cookware, spices, and utensils are available for those who want to cook.

Coffee and cream are available because, as everyone knows, Seattle runs on coffee (don't worry tea drinkers, I've got you covered as well).

Robes, towels, plenty of pillows, linens, and lots of drawer/wardrobe space are provided.

There is a television with Chromecast for you to stream media from your phone. And, of course, there is Wi-Fi.

There is construction on the same block as my building which creates noise during the daytime hours (typicsally when you would be out site-seeing).

Lance is an awesome host. He has taken a lot of care to make sure his guests are comfortable. The location is great, right in the heart of the city. I would definitely stay at his place again.

I had a great stay here - the unit is very nice, and Lance was very communicative and friendly. Honestly I think the unit is a bit underpriced given the location and quality. One thing I would note is that although the studio and location are great, the rest of the building (including the shared bathroom) is pretty run down. This didn't bother me at all, but I can imagine some people might be a bit put off by it. I'm guessing this is one of the reasons that the unit is so inexpensive relative to other options though, so in that sense I think it worked to my advantage.

This is an absolutely amazing Airbnb. The location here is everything. The studio is in downtown within walking distance to a ton of different restaurants and is a few blocks from the waterfront and Pike Place Market. Other cool neighborhoods such a Fremont and Capitol Hill are only 15ish minutes away via Uber/Lyft. Lance was a great host who communicated and offered suggestions about places to go! The studio itself was neat, clean, comfortable and has a coffee maker! The downfall was that the apartment building itself was a bit dingy and the bathroom is shared with everyone on the floor! There is only one bathroom and shower! While I only had to wait twice it to as a gross to say the least. Otherwise an absolutely perfect stay!

Lance's place is located in the perfect part of Seattle if you are coming in to tour the city like we were. The bed was amazingly comfortable and he had everything we needed (and more). The espresso machine was a very nice touch. I would highly recommend this for anyone looking for the perfect location in Seattle.

The apartment amenities were so good that it was clear to us that our host spent a lot of thought and time to ensure guests had a first class experience. The site pictures of the apartment are accurate as is the description. I cannot overstate how wonderful the location is -- across the street from the Seatle Art Museum and just steps from Pikes Market, trolley stop, link rail stop, underground tour, multiple restaurants etc. I would encourage anyone interested in visiting Seattle sights to consider this location first.

Lance's place is in an unbeatable location! It was about a 5-10 minute walk to Pike Place, and the Seattle Art Museum is right across the street. Like others said, the construction noise is pretty bothersome. Some days we were hearing construction at midnight (super weird right?). Other than that, the room is super nice, and most amenities are provided. However, there's no hairdryer, so if you need one you should bring your own. The bathroom was a little odd, but bearable for the time of our stay. We did have a minor issue with the fridge... it didn't seem to be cooling well, and the freezer didn't work at all. We were so sad to find our pint of Molly Moon's melted in the freezer, but Lance was really good about making things right. Overall, I would recommend anyone staying here! Location is key! :)
