Our extended Cape house is located in beautiful Southern Vermont, near skiing, dining, arts, culture, farmland and more. We are experienced innkeepers who are now retired from our former B & B but love to host people in our home. We have 2 comfortable bedrooms with double beds and a shared bath adjacent to a separate, lovely sitting room with gas fire, WIFI and TV.

Hello! We are former innkeepers (West River Lodge and Gillian's Guest House) who are both retired professors, and are happy to now open our new home to guests and also invite you to stay at our old house around the corner. We would love to provide information about our beautiful West River Valley in Southern Vermont, and will share our knowledge of antiques, travel, food, culture, science and anything else you have a passion for.
We are the owners of two friendly Jack Russel terriers at our new home, with a separate living room for guests, complete with a wifi, fireplace and cable tv. Our library has a wide range of books from classics to currents if you feel like curling up in front of the fire with a good book, or experience intense bird activity from our dining room window. Our other house was formerly run as Gillian's Guest House but is now available in it's entirety for anyone who would like a quiet, spacious and relaxing place to get away from it all. Both houses are close to skiing...Stratton, Bromley and Mount Snow are all about a 1/2 hours' drive. Also nearby you'll have hiking, biking, antiquing, art and exploring all Vermont has to offer. We are close to fine dining at the Four Columns Inn, as well as casual fare at Rick's Tavern, and Brattleboro is a short 15 minutes away. While we can't accommodate your pets, we are child friendly.
