Airbnb Parking Instructions:
All Airbnb guests who plan on arriving with their vehicle to the property and are requesting a parking space.
Parking spaces are only available after 12:00pm on the day of check-in. We have other guests using these spaces prior to 12:00pm. You are welcome to park in the lot if there is a space available. Please check with me prior to arrival if you plan on arriving early (prior to check-in time) and would like a space.
When unloading, keep in mind that there is NO parking in front of the property. To help facilitate unloading and loading, we suggest you double park, with your hazard lights on, in front of the property to unload. Once you have finished unloading, you can proceed to the private lot assigned to you during your stay.
If you plan on using your vehicle on a daily basis rather than parking and leaving it in the lot throughout the duration of your stay, please let me know prior to check in so we can coordinate an easy way for you to access your car as you need it.
Directions to lot from the Airbnb:
Take the next immediate left onto 2nd street
Take the next right onto Randolph Place.
Drive slowly, so you do not miss the entrance to the alley. The entrance will be the first right you encounter. It is paved with bricks.
Follow the alley. The lot is toward the middle on your right hand side. It is the lot between a garage with a white door and a garage with a blue door and an American flag - you will see the white garage door first. The lot may also be marked by a trashcan with the numbers “123” on the side.
The lot has no gate or other identifying characteristics.
Once you locate the lot, please pull your car as close to the left or right hand side as possible.
Pull your car all the way to the front so that it is as close as possible to the building.
If there is another vehicle in the lot, park so that you are not blocking the vehicle in - please carefully park to the side of the vehicle, whichever is empty at the time. If there are two cars in the lot, park on either side and send me a message including a description of the car you are blocking in. Please note that the lot is narrow and may be a tight fit if you are driving a larger vehicle.
Note: On Wednesday and Thursdays, the lot is always full because of DC’s street cleaning restrictions, so please make sure you are taking special care to follow the instructions outlined above so we can better coordinate use of the spaces in the lot.

My house is located across the street from the Airbnb property so if you happen to forget the key code, misplace the keys to the apartment, if you are having problems with connecting to the WIFI, etc, feel free to reach out to me.
The front door has a key code for easy access. The hallway entrance is a shared with the apartment on the 1st level. The apartment is on the 2nd level which has a private foyer and door. The property is located on the main sthoroughfare. The bedroom faces the street so you are a light sleeper, you may want to make use of some ear plugs.
The queen futon bed in the living room area is quite big so when laid flat, the space could be a bit tight. Feel free to move the dinette over.
The dinette table can seat 4 people. There are 2 additional comfy foldable chairs in the storage area right outside the apt door. The broom, dust pan, mop and some cleaning supplies can also be found in the storage area right outside the apartment door.
*No overnight guests who are not part of the advanced, airbnb reservation WITHOUT PERMISSION from host.
* Check-in is at 3PM, and check-out is by 12NN (our housekeepers promptly arrive at 12:15 nn. Arriving slightly earlier or storing luggage for a later flight? please check with us first.
*To ensure full safety of our guest’s belongings, we like to keep the front door locked as a precautionary measure. We want to ensure every guest stay remains problem free, and this is just one small + simple thing we’re able to do to ensure that.
"To keep our costs down (and pass those savings on to our guests) we kindly ask that you switch off lights and the A/C or space heater when its not in use or leaving the house.
*What you do in your personal time is entirely up to you, but when staying at our place we have a strict no drug use policy. This is just the law… not so much one of our rules.
*We understand that accidents happen. But we do ask that you please let us know when they do. Chances are we can fix them as effortlessly as possible which also means better chances of having your full security deposit returned too.
* To be considerate to the other residents, we kindly ask to keep things on the quieter-side after 10pm. And if you want to listen to music, please remember the other residents and enjoy via headphones or in your personal space.
