Spectacular sunsets and direct Ocean Front views await you in this nicely upgraded 2 bedroom/2 bathroom condo. The spacious lanai is the perfect setting to enjoy the calming waves of the Pacific while relaxing with your favorite beverage. There are 2 chaise lounge chairs available as well as a dining table that seats 4 to eat your morning breakfast. Perfect way to start your day! The tidal pools that can be seen from the unit boast many ocean creatures and is a favorite hangout for the Honu! (turtle)

The Living Area and Master Bedroom are both Ocean Front, open to the lanai and are separated by a sliding door. Floor to ceiling sliding glass doors make it possible to wake up in the morning and take in the view the Pacific without leaving your King bed. The connected Master Bathroom offers granite counters and a tub/shower combo. There is an inside dining area as well as fully equipped kitchen. The additional bedroom offers 2 twin beds and there is another bathroom which has also been updated with granite counters and a tub/shower combo. There are ceilings fans location throughout the condo, in-unit washer/dryer and free WIFI.

This Resort is on world famous Alii Drive, just 3 miles south of the quaint town of Kailua-Kona where you will find great restaurants and shopping. Banyans Beach, famous for its intermediate surfing, is on the south end of the complex. Kona Bali Kai has a freshwater swimming pool, Jacuzzi, BBQ area, large lobby & grassy area near the waters edge for total enjoyment near the condo.

To make sure all of our guests are aware, all taxes and fees (including cleaning fees) are clearly stated in all our listings on Airbnb and our other listing sites. If you disagree with them, please do not request to book the property. Hawaii State Taxes do add 13.416% to the rental amount, we wish these were not applicable but they are. Currently, AirBnB does not have a separate area to collect taxes but we understand they are working on that with the State of Hawaii. Once we have an inquiry or request, we again contact our future guests and ask them if they agree with the additional amounts and offer to deny the request if the guest does not agree. You again went forward, sending us a separate email stating you accept the fees and taxes, knowing all the amounts in advance. Our records show a total amount of 1250.51 including all fees, taxes, and Airbnb charges minus the 199 your received which equates to 1049.51 for your five-night stay in an Ocean front condo. We were informed about 30 days before your arrival about the work required to the pool area at Bali Kai. We do not manage the complex, only a few condos in the complex and we were proactive in contacting all the guests booked to stay during the remodel. Since it was short notice, we contacted you and offered to discount your stay if the pool was not a big factor in your choice of this condo or allow you to fully cancel with no penalties. You did not respond. Then after you stayed, you demanded a huge discount. We provided you with the original discount offered, feeling it was right to provide you with the original option. You then demanded almost 59% of the entire rental amount through AirBnB. It reminds us of the person going to a restaurant, eating the entire meal and then saying there was something wrong with the food? We do not react well to threats. Especially, when you had the opportunity to cancel without penalty before the stay. We manage about 5000 reservations a year, with only a handful of issues. We are open seven days a week from 8:00 to 5:00 and are on island to answer any questions or assist you with any concerns. We hope you enjoyed Kona and will come back even if you do not choose to stay with us. Mahalo, Kona Coast Vacations
