Le logement

The apartment is North east faced, warm in winter and cool in summer. The room is light and airy, with black out blinds and double glazing so you get a good night sleep after the long trip!
There is centralized air conditioning for the hotter months and heating when it gets chilly.
You have your own private bathroom with a nice powerful shower.
I am also happy for guests to use the dryer and washing machine if needed.

You are welcome to access shared space such as living room, kitchen, laundry and balcony.
Check in is ideally after 1:00pm, however on request earlier checking is possible and we can meet up with you at Mascot metro station to let you in. Please let me know in advance.

In the event our neighbours are disturbed by particular incidents like amplified music, vocals or excessive noise emitted during your stay, an abatement direction may be issued with an on-the-spot fine of AU$200 or more by our local council or the local police station.

If you plan to bring your kid(s) along, please be aware that my apartment has a balcony with a sliding door. You may still book at your own risk.

Please take care of your belongings during your stay though this is a security controlled apartment with no thievery heard of so far , please also kindly treat my property with respect during your stay and do not cause any major or superficial damages.

If you plan to cook, that's fine but please be warned that the fire alarm is quite sensitive, so please be sure to switch on the range hood and open the entrance door and balcony door to allow ventilation while cooking, in case it goes off, you'll be liable for the costs of the fire fighting truck's visit.

I do not recommend this apartment if you value your sleep. We barely slept at all during our 4 night stay due to the "hard as rock" mattresses on both beds. We wouldn't even call them mattresses. They were boxsprings without the mattress. The kitchen was very ill equipped for cooking anything more than a one course meal and the carpets and upholstery needed cleaning. The bathrooms had a musty smell and the whole apartment had an odour whenever the windows were closed. The only good thing about this apartment was its location right at the Mascot train station. It was very easy to get around Sydney by train. There is a Woolworths grocery store across the street. Very convenient.

I will have nothing to say if most of my guests complain like this...this is just a small home business with reasonable daily room rate not a 5 star hotel, I don't think any guest can request a 5 star hotel to spend extra A$200 to buy a very soft mattress to suit his/her particular needs...but somebody think she has the right to request an Airbnb host to do so...otherwise....

Charles' apartment was easy to get to from the airport. It is right at the train station which made it very easy to travel to the CBD. It is very spacious and quite clean. Would suggest adding a couple of pots and pans and some cooking oil

A big thank you to Charles for being such a great host. The apartment was fabulous. It was clean, comfy and all the necessities to make our stay complete. The location, simply fantastic! It was near and convenient to every spot we explored in Sydney. taking the train was easy and taking cabs were not too expensive and always a short ride. We absolutely loved this place.

Charles is a very helpful host, even we have trouble of the check in time, he provided a lot of suggestion to us. The place is clean and comfortable, and it's wonderful to have a car park space!!Highly recommend to all. We definitely will stay again if we come next time! Thanks Charles again for your help!

Great location, spotless apartment, and very friendly host. Hard beds commented on by others already, although we didn't find them uncomfortable.
