George and I have lived in Troy, Montana for approximately 15 years. We retired from our jobs in Virginia early so we could fulfill our dream of living in this beautiful area of the west. George enjoys the hunting and fishing and I especially enjoy the slower pace of living. We have been married almost 50 years and have 2 children, a son who lives in Texas and a daughter, who lives in Virginia. We have 2 grandsons, who spend their summers visiting us, they enjoy fishing with Pawpaw and swimming in the cold water of Lake Creek and the Yaak River.
George and I feel very blessed to be able to live the Montana Dream. We hired the Amish in Libby to build the cabin on Lake Creek Road. After George finished the work inside, we decided to build another one. This was the beginning of our adventure of owning and operating a Vacation Rental.
We especially like getting to know our guests. We have met some very nice and interesting people from all over the US and Canada. We have had two different groups from Australia.
