Completed in late 2016, this property is situated on top of the Darling Scarp only a short distance from the popular Waroona Dam. Enjoy the panoramic views to the ocean and Mandurah Estuary or explore the 10 acres of native parkland. This modern dwelling is well suited for couples, with a king sized master bed plus spa bath and large shower in the private ensuite. Every bedroom has a double bed with glass sliding doors to enjoy the views and access the veranda and alfresco.
Set in a quiet, secluded location with spectacular ocean and valley views, this brand new house has been designed to look like a rustic log cabin from the outside but is bright and modern inside. Perfect for relaxing away from the world with a cold drink as the sun slips below the horizon. Only a short drive to Waroona Dam, Drakesbrook Weir and local wineries. The Treetop Adventure park in Dwellingup is only 15 minutes away. Plenty of resident Kangaroo's and native birds. The large alfresco area is great for entertaining, cooking a BBQ or just enjoying the views. The circular fire pit is popular in the cooler months for roasting marshmallows or sitting with friends (when fire bans allow). A comfortable stay has been intended with brand new furniture, appliances, beds, linen, towels, kitchen utensils, etc, plus remote-controlled ceiling fans in every bedroom and reverse-cycle air conditioning in the master bedroom and living area. The spa in the ensuite can accommodate two people and is complete with variable-colour electronic candles to help set the mood.

Échanges avec les voyageurs
Guests will have the property to themselves however myself or my partner are available if any issues arise. Please note that we live in Mandurah so will be at least 35 minutes away.
*NOTE* - The driveway is steep gravel and can be hazardous. 4WD or AWD vehicle is recommended (but not mandatory). However it should not pose any issues to a competent off-road driver. Towing of boats or caravans up or down the driveway is not recommended.
As construction of the house has only just been completed, landscaping and other property upgrades are ongoing.
The property can be a little difficult to locate the first time around so I am happy to meet you at the nearby Drakesbrook Tavern and show you the way to the property if required.
As this is a rural property, parents are required to supervise their children to avoid hazards such as snakes and dams. Young children are welcome however child safety devices have not been fitted to cupboard doors or draws. Adult supervision will be required.
The fire ban for this area is from the 2nd of November to the 26th April.
Please do not use the fire pit during this time and be extra cautious when using the BBQ. Evidence of the last bushfire (January 2016) can still be seen on the property. as mentioned above, this is a non-smoking property.
The septic system cannot handle non-degradable material. Please be mindful of what you flush down the toilets and don't put any oil or chemicals down the drains as it can kill the natural bacteria.
Hi. Myself and my partner Courtney have spent the last 5 years developing this property in the Waroona Hills. We love enjoying the amazing views from the new house and we hope that you do too!
