This villa is beautiful, well decorated and with very comfortable beds. The location is amazing, a bit secluded and close to the Kruger Park, with nice place to have brunch inside the Marloth Park compound. Downside is that we faced power outage/electricity cut, decided to leave a day earlier because of this and were not reimbursed for this. In addition to the usual hassle of not having electricity: warm shower, refrigerator, water kettle, a/c and light, the alarm/security system is also dependent on electricity. Also, if raining, I would recommend, 4x4 vehicle and also make sure you have GPS, map, south african mobile number, to be able to communicate with host/location prior to arrival, if you're arriving late, as we ended up spending quite some time explaining and convincing security to allow us into the house. Partly my fault, as I was supposed to have printed out a form, etc. for the guards at gate, which unfortunately I lost/forgot. Maybe if I had phone (S.African number/roaming with internet) I could have shown the form, but I didn't have internet, and there was no wifi at reception. Ultimately, we managed to spend a night but it was a bit of a hassle to get in, understandably for security issues, but nonetheless a hassle that could have been avoided if we were better prepared.
