Our house is in Downside Village, near Cobham, Surrey. Perfect base for visits to the charming pub, cycle rides and countryside walks.
Cobham has boutiques, restaurants and coffee bars.
Immaculately presented with a kitchen, sitting room and a dining area overlooking the garden.
Upstairs there are two double and one single bedrooms and a bathroom with shower.
Ample off road parking.
Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families (with kids).
Just to help you plan we have The Cricketers gastropub, (Raymond Blanc), on the far side of the green and a host of other country pubs within the area. (see guide in house). Cobham has a good selection of restaurants : Carluccios, Cote, Pizza Express, Starbucks, Costa, Clever and Strada along with specialist Italian and Indian restaurants. Also recently opened is the Ivy Brasserie, (best book a reservation if you would like to eat). This is all 5 mins drive away.
We also have Waitrose and Sainsbury's supermarkets on the high street for groceries.
The Medicine Garden, on the way into Cobham, is a delightful location hidden in a converted kitchen garden with stable blocks set within a walled garden. It has charming restaurant, coffee shop, gift shops and play area for small children. Open during the day only.
Guildford is a pretty University town with cobbled streets and cute alley ways and is only 20 mins drive away, going south on the A3, with its host of fashion boutiques and restaurants. Cinemas are to be found in nearby
Guildford, Kingston, Esher and Walton.
Ripley village is a 10 minute drive, (suggest you take back route through Ockham), and has a charming village high street with antique shops, cafes and cute pubs.
We are also very close to Surrey Hills with it's picturesque villages often used as a location for film production. The village of Sheer was used in The Holiday
Cobham is blessed with the most beautiful country walks,(see our guide in house), along with Claremont Gardens and Pains Hill Heritage sites. RHS Wisley Gardens is 10 minutes drive and has the most beautiful gardens and tea shop.

Our home is completely separate from us and guests will have access to the whole house and garden during their stay.

We are available to help if you need it. We live 15 minutes away, but can help by phone anytime and visit if necessary.
Our house is in a semi rural location, but we have good neighbours either side which we ask you to respect during your stay.
1) Please recycle all waste and put in the blue, green and caddy bins outside.
Blue: Card , paper, glass bottles and tins ( no plastic bags)
Green: Plastic bags, plastic food containers.
Caddy: Waste food, tea bags, flowers
2) Please place used towels in bath and neatly fold unused towels
3 Please leave the beds that you don't need untouched. This will help us to know what needs changing for the next guest.
4) Use dishwasher (tablets provided), or hand wash in basin if preferred. We will put the cleaned crockery and tableware away when we do the change over.
5) Wifi is available, (code on hub next to tv)
6) Turn lights off when not in the house.
7) Lock rear patio doors and side door when not in house.
8) Remove shoes when going upstairs
9) Please leave house as you found it, (except bedding which we will strip on departure)
10) Lastly, please respect our lovely neighbours and keep noise at a reasonable level if you outside after 10pm.
