Charming 1910 bungalow is located downtown on a quiet street with very little traffic. Close to UK, Transylvania U., Rupp Arena, local breweries, Town Branch Distillery, Red Mile, Keeneland, KY Horse Park; downtown restaurants and nightlife are a short walk away. Two BRs, sitting room, TV room, two full baths, laundry room, kitchen - all newly remodeled. There's a front porch, back porch, and a large, private, shaded fenced-in backyard; pets are welcome.
Adorable bungalow built in 1910, remodeled in 2006. One floor with just a few steps to the front door. One BR has a full bed, one has a twin bed, and there's a cot (stored in the TV room closet) for a fourth guest. Basset hounds live here part time so guests with dog allergies should be aware. Parking is on the street but there is usually plenty of space right in front of the house.

Guests can use the entire home including kitchen and laundry room. Kitchen is fully equipped. Closets and drawers in bedrooms are off limits but the closet in the TV room is available to guests. Back yard has a very good fence that will keep in any size dog, it's very private and a great place to relax on a nice day.

I can be reached at any time via text, phone call or email and am happy to answer questions if any come up. We will most likely be at our home in Harrodsburg which is an hour away. If there is something urgent we need to deal with we will come as soon as possible, though it will be at least an hour. But we do have friends that live nearby the bungalow and if it's something they can deal with we can call on them to help out.
In some situations I can be flexible on check in and check out times. Just contact me in advance if those times don't work for you. Generally we are in the house until 5:30 on Friday afternoons during the school year, but again just contact me in advance if that's a problem.
We stay at the house during the week so we have food, beverages, and personal items in the house, we ask that guests be respectful and not disturb these things. There is coffee and one shelf in the fridge containing breakfast items that guests can help themselves to.
My husband Pete and I own Terrapin Hill Farm in Mercer County, KY. It's a beautiful 400 acre property where we host weddings, music festivals, yoga retreats and other events. When we decided to send our youngest son to high school in Lexington, we purchased a small house so I can stay with him there during the week. We enjoy meeting people and welcoming guests to our city and country homes!
