Il s'agit de l'un des rares endroits de la région qui dispose de cet équipement.
My place is close to St Antony's Chapel Fort Kochi. It is easy to get all kinds of transportation from here. Guest can easily find out the place. It is close to the Fort Kochi center. It is a heritage place which is built in the of 1912 & it is more than 100 years old. The restoration and decoration of the property gives you the feeling of heritage.. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and big groups..

Le logement
A perfume of history mixed with spice and tea lingers in Fort Kochi. This area developed in the colonial past during which the cultural milieu was moulded by various communities from other parts of India and abroad like Jews, Parsis, Kutchi Muslims, Gujaratis, Tamils, Konkanis who settled here for trade. This property is a hundred year old colonial bungalow made even more striking by a few bright style elements. This boutique Stay in Kochi was built in 1912 by United Carpets of UK and then bought over by Brooke Bond in 1956 to house the offices of the senior management. In the late Eighties, it fell into disrepair after years of lying vacant. The painstaking restoration hits home when you see pre-renovation pictures, which hang in the reception of this boutique Stay in Kochi.

The porperty is an intimate boutique Stay in Kochi, only a short walk from the historic quarter of Fort Kochi. All the rooms are named after British controlled ports in the heydays of the Empire. More privacy and a view over the pool from the verandah outside the rooms. The restaurant tends to be quiet as it is open only to in-house guests. The lower rooms have larger bathrooms with a bath garden feel as they have plants and pebbles. There is a newer annexe in the garden with smaller rooms. The lower rooms in the annexe have bath gardens too. Both the upper rooms have a tiny balcony instead. The Travancore Lounge with a library and TV is open to all guests. The pool is small and well maintained in a courtyard at the back, adequate for a boutique hotel.
The staff is largely young and full of smiles and enthusiasm.

Surrounded by old age trees in the exclusive heritage area of the Fort Kochi is a hideaway steed in history. Long before this property in Fort kochi became a boutique resort it used to go by the Moniker Brooke Bond Bungalow. When we developed the property we incorporated the element to keep the history of the building and the theme intact.

I am Vivek Dempo, Grandson of the late Padmashri Mr Vasantrao S Dempo founder of the Dempo Group of Companies, Goa. Am a partner of Dempo Properties And Investments Pvt Ltd. I recently floated Dempo Resorts. The restoration and decoration of Tea Bungalow has been a labor of love for me. Dempo Family is one of the oldest family in Goa, who controlled the coconut trade from the 16th to the 19th century. So i tried to keep the heritage as it is.
