Le logement

The original house dates from the circa 1907 and was converted into a separate house and town-house in the 1960’s. Internally the property is in excellent condition, being fully refurbished in 2015, while retaining all woodwork as originally installed most with original finishes, the notable exception is the wooden floor which has been sanded back and refinished. Also retained are the original period features particularly the stained glass on external windows and within the internal doors, also cornice work, fireplaces and sash and case windows. This is a unique building.

There are three bedrooms, two refurbished bathrooms (one with a shower and the other with a bath and shower), refurbished kitchen, spacious living room, dining table to seat six, the floor area is 127 m2.

3 Bedrooms, (1) a king sized bed, (2) twin room that can be configured to super king sized room and (3) bunk bed room (bunk bed can accommodate either children - but top bunk by over 6 only or adults).

Additionally, the property is tastefully furnished and decorated. Overall, the perfect retreat after a busy day or relaxing holiday.

Johns place is beautiful! It has been very tastefully remodeled. The kitchen is extremely well equipped as was the rest of the home. The location was great and John was a very responsive host.

A beautiful period house but with all modern conveniences required. It's in a great location for Elgin town centre, close to A96 and for touring around that corner of Scotland. Having two bathrooms was particularly helpful. A very comfortable and relaxing home. John and Marlene have thought of everything to make anyone's stay a great experience. We would definitely go back again.
