My place is close to great views, restaurants and dining, the beach, family-friendly activities, and nightlife. You’ll love my place because of the ambiance, the outdoors space, the neighborhood, and the light. My place is good for business travelers, families (with kids), and big groups.
The Fishermen's Apartment is IN the Old City of Akko. The Old City's ancient wall and the Mediterranean Sea are just across the street. The renowned restaurants, the market, the museums, the Turkish Bazar, the port, the Templar's Tunnel and all the sites of the Old City are within walking distance including the Crusaders' Knights Halls and the city's beach is just a short drive away.
On an opportune visit, Tamar (my wife) and I fell in love with the Old City of Akko. We soon purchased and renovated several properties in the heart of the Old City. Akotika manages various suites and apartments. The Fishermen's Apartment is a lovely 120-meter apartment which easily accommodates nine people, and two additional children can sleep on the living-room couch mattresses. It is a wonderful place for families (children are welcome) and groups of friends to stay. It is the perfect spot for your vacation. You can explore the city and its sites as well as go on daily trips to the Galilee and Golan Heights in the Northern district of Israel and see the sights.
The apartment has been refurbished and designed with your comfort in mind. There are three bedrooms in the apartment. One room for two people (two single beds that can be set up together as a double bed) and there is a bathroom with a toilet, sink and shower on this level, one room for three people (with an adjacent shower) and one room on the second level which can accommodate four people (with an adjacent toilet, sink and shower). The living room can be made up for two additional beds for children. The apartment comfortably accommodates nine (9) people and two additional children can sleep on the couch in the living-room.
The apartment is approximately two flights up from the street. As is the case in many ancient cities, due to preservation restrictions, we could not install an elevator. Therefore, please note, this is the only way to reach the apartment as there is no elevator.
The kitchen – dining area – living room, a bathroom with a shower, a bedroom for two people, and a bedroom for three people with a sink and shower are all on the main level. In the apartment itself, there is a short flight of stairs to the second level where the bedroom for four people along with a bathroom and shower is located.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, an oven, an electric range, a microwave oven and an electric kettle, in addition to dishes, cutlery, pots and pans and basic condiments. The dining area can accommodate up to 11 people
There is cable TV in the living-room and free wi-fi throughout the apartment. Thee is hot water in the showers and each of the rooms has a separate air conditioning unit (cooling and heating).
There is a lovely rooftop terrace (without a view) furnished with plastic table and chairs approximately 20² meters where you can relax, enjoy the sun and sea breeze and have a barbeque (upon request, no extra charge).
If you'd like you can have breakfast on the roof-terrace at Akotika Boutique (please book in advance at additional cost), with the amazing view of the Mediterranean Sea just several meters above the sea and the Old City's wall.
