Completely separate, the first and second floors operate independently. Cayo Cañón includes the entire first floor and private first floor deck. The first floor has a modern, uncluttered look with hardwood floors, central heat and air, bedroom ceiling fan, and a deck ceiling fan for those hot Southern days. There is one bedroom with a king bed; dresser drawers are provided. The living room has a sofa bed, couch, and a lounge chair. The all new bathroom has a full tub/shower, two cabinets, and waterfall sink. The kitchen has a brand new premium five-burner gas stove, coffee maker, Brita filter, electric tea kettle, toaster, microwave, ice maker, blender, utensils, and a breakfast nook. Iron and board can be found in the left bedroom closet. Washer/dryer available.

Transitioning from tourists to residents, "Superhosts" Emily and Michael Quinn made Charleston their home in 2012. They immediately fell in love with Charleston’s beaches, restaurant culture, and nightlife. Charleston reminded the happy couple of (and even rivaled) their other favorite escape, Cayo Hueso (Key West, FL). Emily and Michael were engaged in Key West (2014), married (2015), and began their new lives in Charleston. Painting their house key lime and rechristening their home “Cayo Cañón”, the newlyweds have successfully mirrored Key West's "chill" vibe in “The Chuck.” You’ll often find the Quinns lounging on their second floor deck, grilling, visiting with neighbors, entertaining guests, and walking their French bulldog, Artoo.
