The location of the cabin is within walking distance to the beach, there is a great outdoor setup with a fire pit and games. Would recommend to a large group of people renting out the whole cabin

Jeanette and Dave's cabin is a hidden gem in a quiet part of Washington State that not a lot of people know about. The beach is literally a 1-minute drive or 10-minute walk from the cabin and it's 1-minute off the highway, real easy to get in and out (2.5 hours from Seattle). Jeanette and Dave maintain the cabin very well, adding/repairing little bits and pieces every month. The outside looks like it needs a coat of paint but it's nothing to be worried about. I stayed at the cabin for 4 nights during the week on a work trip. Jeanette was running their shop on the highway so I could always stop by to chat or ask questions about the place/accommodations. She was always friendly and went over the top to make sure I had everything I needed. They stay in a camp trailer on the property so you can say hi or reach them easily, but they respected my privacy the entire time I was there (4 nights). To clarify- this is a 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath (1 shower) cabin where each bedroom is rented out individually so you may share the cabin with a few other people. When I stayed during the week, there were no other travelers so I had the place to myself which was awesome. The rooms are all upstairs, share walls, and one has bunk beds so it might not be as private/quiet when people are renting the other rooms. I really enjoyed the rustic feel of the place with the old wood smell and layout of a cabin. Think of it like staying at your grandparent's old cabin- well water (non-potable during my stay), lower water pressure than at home, a bit drafty if it's cold outside: normal cabin things. But it's one of the most well-stocked cabins I've ever stayed- the kitchen had everything but a dishwasher, including full stove, refrigerator/freezer, all the silverware/plates/cups you need, and cooking equipment. The refrigerator was stocked with a bunch of condiments and bottled water when I stayed there. The living room was comfy with two loveseats, a chair, and the kitchen dining table is close by. The wifi was fast enough to stream Netflix if you wanted to and I had no issues during my stay. The big covered porch has a table with 6 chairs, a propane grill, and all the tools for a vacation at the beach (clam guns, mud boots, crab pots). I brewed coffee every morning with the coffee maker, BBQ'd on the porch every night, and walked down to the beach after dinner to enjoy the sunset on the ocean. Seriously, it was like being at home because it had everything plus the beach! I only needed to bring my toiletries, food and clothes. I stayed in the "Wildlife Room" which had a full-sized bed, dresser, and small TV. The bed was comfy and had lots of bedding to stay warm during the evening. It never got too cold...

Easy to check-in and great communication. Quiet rustic place with lots of charm. A little ways from food but worth the stay.

We had such a great time! The cabin was rustic and cozy. Jaenette and Dave are very friendly and helpful hosts. Having crabbing and clamming gear to use was a HUGE bonus. Kids had a blast (as did us adults)! Can't wait to bring our grandkids in the summer!

The place is a work in progress but definitely a bargain for the price. The hosts were very nice and made extra efforts to ensure we were comfortable. We enjoyed the large covered porch/deck.

Great cabin. Second time there and it's a great little getaway. Clam digging was a plus. This cabin has everything you need.
