We are thrilled to annonce that we are just finishing a massive refurbishment of our swimming pool and surrounding deck and a change to a salt pool! We have worked hard in the last 5 years to make this house a home. We love the privacy, and layout. We love mid century styling. You’ll love our place because of the views, the location, the new pool and the ambiance. It is a very peaceful and quiet neighborhood.
Completely Private, with lots of foliage around all 4 sides of the yard. A cool vibe on the interior of the house with mid-century décor. The outside consists of several different areas for entertaining and relaxing.

The City of Cathedral City charges a 12% TOT (Transcient Oppupancy Tax) for all income on the property (rental, extra person and cleaning). Airbnb does not include an option for us to add this to the tax into the pricing so I will be advising this cost when you inquire. 12% is charged by the city on the rental rate, extra person rate and cleaning fee. You can easily calculate this but I will confirm it with you.
Dogs may be allowed. There is a pet fee of $150 per dog per week or partial week. Maximum of 2 dogs. Dogs must be over 1 year old and fully house trainined. Dogs must be up to date on their vaccinations including rabies. Dogs must have full flea and tick prrotection as they are rampant in this area. Owners must pick up after their dog daily. Dogs need to be walked on a leash at all times and owners should carry a flashlight and horn to scare away local wild coyotes in the area. Any damage done to the property or any waste not picked up will incurr additonal fees that will be deducted from the deposit. Dogs must not bark and disturb our wonderful neighbors. There is no ability within Airbnb to charge a $150 pet fee so that needs to be paid separately along with the 12% city taxes.

Please be honest about how many people are staying in our home. The legal maximum is for 6 people and all guests over 2 must pay the additional person rate. We will deduct $25 per person per night for any additional guests not paid for with the booking from your deposit.
The pool is in a walled garden but there are multiple doors from the house that lead to the pool area so it is not suitable for children under 12 that are unsupervuised or can't swim competently. Please don't wear shoes inside as there are white shag pile carpets. This is not a party house. It is located in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood and we are good friends with our neighbors who love the quiet.
The pool and jacuzzi are solar heated. If you wish to further heat them with gas you will be charged for gas usage. The Gas Company gives by the day pricing and this will be deducted from your deposit.

All dogs need to be up to date on their shots including rabies and have flea and tick coverage as these are prevelant in the area. The backyard has access to the pool and your pets are not allowed in the pool. Please report any accidents or damage so it can be cleaned or fixed. Cost will be deducted from your deposit.
I was born and raised in the outback of South Australia and moved to the USA in 1994. My husband and I own a luxury Travel Company that specializes in designing unique vacations for Americans to Australia, New Zealand, Islands of the South Pacific and Africa. In 2011 we purchased this home in Palm Springs because we love it there so much. It inspired me to go back to college and get my Masters in Interior Architecture from UCLA. I am passionate about Mid Century Architecture, Architects and Design. I have attended all Modernism Weeks since 2011 and have been fortunate to meet the late Donald Wexler and Hugh Kaptur. We love the way our home reflects Palm Springs way of life.
