Our farm is set in the stunning river Dart valley close to Totnes, a bohemian town with an authentic friday market and abundant independent shops. Our yurt is on the edge of the woods, close to the lodge for amenities. You can hear the owls at night and see the stars. Our farm supports adults with learning disabilities, trainees and volunteers creating a vibrant atmosphere. Dartmoor and the South Devon coast are close for; walking, cycling, (wild) swimming, surfing, bird watching and relaxing..
Our yurt is 20 metres from the lodge on the edge of the woods. You can hear the owls at night and the chickens roam around outside your door! There is a woodburner in the yurt and a double sofa bed. There is electricty and a fridge, and breakfast is a serve yourself affiar in the yurt. We have created this space as a bit more privacy from the lodge, however this is where you use the bathroom, and you can also access the kitchen and lounge here- although there will be other guests around.
We offer conservation and nature experiences and encourage you to get involved, even if it's just reading a book from our abundant natural history bookshelf, waking up early one morning with a pair of binoculars down by the river or heading out for some badger watching under the moon light. Badger watching , star gazing, botany, wild food educational experiences can be organised.
This place is ideal for couples or small/young families - we can provide roll mats to go on the floor for additional people.

The yurt is yours! In the lodge (20 metres away) there are two bathrooms and one large communal sitting room/kitchen. This is shared with other guests. Other guests include other air bnb ers, wwoofers, conservation trainees, European volunteers. There is great outside space, a fire pit, woods and fields! You can also head up to the vegetable garden and get, we think, the best view in Devon-and of course some lovely organic veg.

We are a family who live on site in nearby yurts. You do however have your space. We are around to help, answer questions, show you the farm etc. And it's up to you how much you want to get to know us!
It can get muddy in the winter/rainy days. So bring wellies. Also a torch if you have one to get to the bathrooms at night. Fire wood included in your stay.
