This is a cute Arts&Crafts Bungalow on a tree-lined street. It has a more recent interior space based on an open floorplan that maintains the Bungalow charm. It is located on the border of the Rockridge and Temescal neighborhoods. Rockridge is the more upscale, but Temescal has just as much to offer in the way of fine and casual dining, boutique shopping and interesting bars. The bungalow is a 10 minute walk to the Rockridge BART station and is a straight shot from the Fox Theater.
The Bungalow is raised above street level. There is a short flight of stairs that leads up to front porch which extends almost the entire width of the front.
The common space - living area, dining area and kitchen - is bright and open. There are blackout curtains on all windows if total privacy is desired. It is furnished with a casual, modern aesthetic.
The kitchen has just about everything you need to really get some serious food prep and cooking done. This includes two ceramic non-stick pans, a non-stick wok, a 6 qt. stainless steel pot with pasta insert, a 3.5 qt. enameled cast iron Dutch oven/casserole, a double-sided cast-iron grill/griddle, a variety of bakeware, all necessary knives and utensils, both plastic and bamboo cutting boards, a melamine mixing bowl, a couple stainless steel mixing bowls, a stainless steel colander, a rice cooker, a blender, a food processor, an electric kettle, a conical bur grinder, a modular coffee maker supporting multiple brew modes (full pot, custom grind and k-cup single serving)...
There are also dishes and utensils to serve up and consume your culinary creations. This includes flatware, dinner plates, salad plates, bowls, two serving platters, a salad bowl, a water pitcher, wine glasses, drinking glasses, coffee cups, tea cups, and a couple large mugs.
Yes, the bungalow is equipped with a gas stove, so you can do more than just heat up and burn things. ;)
There is also a dishwasher and a microwave for convenience.
There is a stacked front-loading HE washer/dryer combo in the bungalow.
There are security cameras at both the front and back doors.
The bungalow has a private driveway that can accommodate two cars in tandem. There is a carport at the back of the driveway large enough to cover one car.
There is a street divider at the west end of the house creating a deadend in the road. Most GPS/map applications give directions to the west side of the divider, but the driveway is on the east side.

Guests have access to the entire house and backyard except during the winter at which time the backyard will not be available for use by guests.
Please do not use anything stored in the back of the walk-in closet.
Please do not rearrange the furniture.
Please make sure to close and lock all windows before leaving. I'd also appreciate it if the blinds and curtains/drapes were also closed at least before check out. This is not our primary residence and is only occupied when there are Airbnb guests.
